Sounds like you're one of the lucky ones! Mine was faulty right out of the box and never got better.

Same. Had my One for a year, my pads have been great. His was either faulty or used and abused.

The mic eq of the sc4 is in the menu. The beat effects are shown on the display. That pioneer controller is difficult to use for mobile djs because it cant do on the fly track analysis when used in standalone mode. The prime 4 could have been a good candidate, together with ddj1000.

Quality comment here, thanks for the note bud. Curious - what exactly can't the rx3 do on the fly? I completely agree about standalone mode. I use that only to practice for CDJ sets so I don't need a laptop and can get used to not having one. But then when I want to be a mobile dj I just plug in my lap top and I'm all set. Same for making mixes, I just use controller mode then standalone strictly for CDJ prep

First, you study the features of the products in detail and then make videos and reviews. You are only showing your incompetence. SC Live has a dedicated 3-band EQ on the mic and there is also a 3-band EQ on the Aux input. EQ setting is available via settings menu/mic. section. The microphones also have the option of setting attenuation, also a noise gate feature. Does Not exist DJ console or DJ mixer in the world from any other manufacturer which has such deep microphone setup options. (except Denon Prime 4). The Beat FX selection display, is on the main display - below. The term "Standalone" means that it really is a standalone console! With a system as powerful as Engine OS, you don't need to connect any external devices to it. You have 4 independent decks + another feature/option to play music/sound will be added comming soon. Nevertheless, it is possible to connect a PC/Mac to it and use it as a controller, or wirelessly, via Wifi or cable, connect to the Engine DJ database on the computer, etc. With so many options for connecting different music sources - multiple USB (support for USB Hub), SD, Streaming, Engine DJ Link, etc., don't need to connect anything externally!

Just found your channel, really cool info...I started on turntables, I've had to graduate to the "controller" Maybe you remember the Denon MC400 I think is what it is...ANYWAY, I use it with Serato it's still for me a whole new animal. I don't understand the looping etc...let alone stems. oh well, I found your channel maybe I can learn something.

Another annoyance with the rane is all the hard noisy buttons, especially the cue. Why the didn't use the same rubber and size as the pads is baffling

you can on the XDJ-XZ, it only has one USB B computer port, but you just use a USB stick with one song while you swap over, so id assume same of RX3

I haven't tried a seamless jump but in my experience I believe so as long as the other deck is using a USB or other source of audio. I know you can switch from laptop to an external device via the phono jack seamlessly no problem, so I have my iPad plugged into the phono in so I can run llaylists in between sets and it can be used whenever wherever

It looks pretty sweet but I've never gotten my hands on it. I just know it doesn't run rekordbox natively so if you want to make the jump to cdjs it'll be hard to practice on that beforehand

I appreciate where you're coming from homie. I did say it could be a faulty controller but for me it meant going another route, it's not false information if it's what happened to me. Curious how many others out there had this issue. Just cause you didn't doesn't mean others didn't. It certainly was the case for mine, just pointing out what happened.
