This is one of the dangers of opening demonic doors. It not only affected herself, but also her children. I heard an exorcist say a woman was possessed once because she was sleeping with a man that was heavily into the occult but she had no idea at the time. Not exactly the same situation as this one but it just goes to show that sin is communal!

I live in the next town over from Gary, and worked at the hospital this happened at. This was surreal to hear. I pray this family is doing well. The house is now gone, but that doesn't mean the portal is.

I remember reading about this case. It saddens me that the mother had her children taken away from her through no fault of her own. The trauma caused by evil entities to her children and herself was extreme. The notion that the grandmother was helping the child climb the wall was nonsensical. The only reason she was holding the grandchild's hand was so he wouldn’t fall. That was a normal first reaction to something so insidious. In the account that I read she was the only person in the house that was not subjected to these evil occurrences. I think it would be helpful to know why.
