Why do you tell people to post any questions they have if you have no intention of answering them?

I have a set of the Lewis LH4 on my regular "analog" bike. They appear very well made. Use Hope pads. Only got a few rides in but so far they perform very well under my 210#self on a 160mm bike and are quite powerful but good modulation. Setup and bleed was a breeze with the ezmtb bleed kit. Bite point is consistent and no fading and the lever pivot is smooth and burly with no rattle. The dual adjustment has a ton of range and I have the levers set up with very short free stroke but bite point fairly far from bar. Wish all brakes had that the TRP Quadiem' levers on my other bike now feel crappy in comparison🙂. I dont have an ebike but the LHT is likely powerful enough for one. The US dealer I bought from, DubM, said that Lewis is planning on selling service parts but we'll see. Its not like Shimano and TRP really sell anything besides whole calipers and levers either-however trp's warranty and customer sevice is top notch.

Can you feel any differences between the two brakes? Which feels better after using for a while?

but this is mineral oil vs dot fluid brakes, isnt hope the obvious winner or am i wrong?

Great video!!
@Danielxperez147 ай бұрын
Hopes use dot fluid which will eliminate brake fade, holds up to high temperatures better than mineral oil, and hopes are also highly serviceable and you can rebuild them pretty easily. The Lewis are cool and the adjustability sounds great but the brakes don’t seem to be as serviceable as hopes. For the price they are solid tho.

Looks dope. I was interested in the Hope Tech V4 but I noticed the pivot seems much closer to the bar, and some folks were finding that it interfered with the throttle housing. How far is the pivot from the bar compared to a stock Talaria or Surron brake? Any issues with throttle interference? Thanks for the videos. I always learn something between you and your customers (Dylan especially). Also which pads are compatible?

@Danielxperez147 ай бұрын
Hope tech 4 v4s are best imo if you get the ebike pads, they last long and no brake fade

How do you buy these in the US and how much do they cost

How did ur brake levers fit around the bars, my bars are average size but don’t clamp around as they are too small
@avlehtineАй бұрын
There's no average. All modern MTB and MX/Enduro bars are 22.2mm ( 7/8" ) at the grips/controls. If yours aren't, then the manufacturer has put on some non-standard crap.

Do you guys work on the 79 falcon??

nice but there's really no such thing as " best " anymore with so many excellent brakes on the market .

It's won't last with high power
@mconradb4 ай бұрын
Nothing ever does, unfortunately. Build, break, repeat. Or keep the power low and be boring.
