GlamNP the two that seemed to work well for me were the curls brand ( not the blueberry bliss) and cream of nature the regular hold. i haven't tried the new extra hold that cream of nature has, but i plan on it to see if i can just use that baby itself. Gorilla snot works well. Hick's is expensive and had no hold for me. I always have to tie my hair down regardless though.

I have been using the Curls Blueberry bless edge control and I really like it. I like the fact that my edges fees soft and moisturized. I dont like a hold that is too stiff. I just feel like thats not good for my edges. I however understand persons who need more hold as our hair types are different. I also believe why I like a soft hold is because I dont mind a little of my hair popping up after a while because that makes it look so very natural, if that makes sense.

I am currently transitioning and Eco doesn't work, Pink Diamond protein gel just flakes in my hair, Salon Pro is a soft hold but the one I hate the most is Creme of Nature, like that only stays on my hair for 10 seconds I look away from the mirror and boom! Tiara Grant you may have to layer a little bit. Use an edge control of your choice, brush edges into place then layer some gel, foaming mousse, or (a little!) spritz on top. Do not brush anymore after u layer just use ur fingers. Tie down for 20 mins or so and go. Works for my 4b/4c hair and lasts me thru my 12hr work shifts.

The Creme Of Nature Extra Hold is my staple best period not to mention it is under $5.....what!!! The ways I use it is first I spritz with water, the part(s) of my hair I am slickIng down. Then I apply eco styler argon oil with the red top first....just slather it on lol....then I take a nice finger full of the edge control spread it in the palm of my hands then slap that on ALL the hair I am slicking down.....then I put more eco styler on top...next I slide my head band thingy up to achieve the perfect puff, bun, top knot....waves poppin'
