Great content/editing and overall 🥇Barb channel! Swapped from Barb to Sader in march since he was better in every aspect minus the self-heal. But I kept an eye how every patch Barb was getting buff after buff and now I feel like it's on par with Sader. Moving away from AA reliance with all the don't give an F if cc'ed essences (chain/hammer/cleave) and now my favorite Spartusk(got me to legend on 750reso) removing buffs makes me say "Hell, it's about time we go back to origins!"😎

Thanks for posting this video. I don't think you need to grind the terror rifts for sprint duration gear. You can reforge armor for beneficial effect duration, use runes, use awakened slots, and use vithu set.

Jupp Sure :) in the overview you see lacerate skill+rending. You could play both frenzy essences too with frenzy as primary. I did this in the video so yes, maybe not the best idea to use this Video there 😅

Freeze build is dope! Tried and tested! I 100% recommend it in pve. Esp w/ pve content that gets diff like crift and endless def. Cc build is very useful against alot of painful mobs. Just finished the pve build I'm farming embers to craft vipers bite to proc my lvl 7 pain clasp. Cant wait to see how my dmg is after that begins. I'm at 20Mil dmg in 10 seconds with 2.3k Res. loving it

Not directly yet. Havent thought about it yet bc of a general lower dmg potential. But yes with boss dmg fully active now with all loss of control its definitly better. One point: this was already happening on puppet. So meassured dmg potential wont get higher with the change. If you like testing it and reporting that would be awesome:) think im waiting for new essences before going that length.

Insgesamt sehr spannende neue Essenzen, aber ich mag Firestorm/Shackled Fate immer noch lieber. Hab das neue grüne Set noch nicht, aber mit 4/4 Vithus/Banquet ist meine dps mit dem neuen Build doch deutlich tiefer als mit der bisherigen Meta. Und in pvp spiele ich einfach lieber defensivere Builds, da ich da imo den grösseren Impact auf den Ausgang des Kampfs habe (zumindest im low reso Bereich knapp unter 2k, wo ich zurzeit bin). Freue mich deshalb auf dein nächstes Video!😉

Hello und Danke :) kann dich verstehen! Der shackled fate ist immernoch Stier. Einen Hinweis jedoch: der Damage bei dem build kommt erst mit dem Set. Alle 0,5s ein shatter zwischen 15 und 25k dann alle 3s einen weiteren 25k shatter. Und das für ca. 18s duration. Da findet die Magie statt ^^

Hey have another observation I wonder if you noticed regarding the Sprint helm and projectile speed. The projectile speed seems to only apply if you use a skill while Sprint is already active. If you use Cleave or HoA and THEN Sprint they will only get the attack speed portion of the head essence (it looks that way at least). But if you have Sprint already active and then use Cleave/HoA you'll see the speed increase is dramatic meaning the projectile speed applied. Strange, have you noticed?

Firestom chains peaks in my setup to 6M, this freeze build to 5M DPS. Both get to a solid 3M DPM. So currently i play freeze the freeze in PVE BC it makes nrly no different and i want some variety ;)

Hey, so about the new shoulder essence. The 47.5% damage to slowed targets essence counts towards chilled targets making the new essence virtually useless if you even were to choose that one. I find that very weird that they would give use 2 essences like that making the new one pointless. So the armor break Skull Motte shoulders increases every source of damage making it my current main choice and a good choice like you said. The new off hand isn't as good as Clattersteel also like you showed for a few reasons. Clattersteel hits an entire area at once compared to the new one that has to circle around you. It's good for large crowds of mobs probably I'm sure though. But the Clattersteel being a beneficial effect is a big boon. With the attack speed from the Sprint helm I've been testing out 4pc Baron / 2pc Endwinter / 2pc Vithus. Since Barons 20% is multiplicative with Endwinter while still getting the Barons duration and vithus duration, the combo is working well. Will probably go back to 4pc vithus though, maybe ..

Baron is nice! Honestly i havent tested the full stacking of all armor red. and damage effects. So skull motte + 4pc Baron + sunder & dmg effects of all Gems + set dmg (2pc end) + warband + ... Seeing damage going up was enough for me here, but i dont know If i hit any caps or similar.

Hey craine, I just caught up on your recent videos in preparation to switch back to barb. Some good stuff as always. One question I have, though: have you tested which damage buffs and armor breaks stack, and which don’t? Iirc from Auroth’s ultimate guide to dps, damage buffs go into one of four buckets, which are then multiplied together. However, I’ve seen other KZbinrs test and confirm that certain damage buffs don’t stack, and the example I recall was from two essences affecting different skills. For armor breaks, we have lingering wounds + detested + sunder + other barb skills/essences + 2 midwinter + mastermind paragon… it’s a lot. I’ve heard before that at least some of these don’t stack, eg sunder + mastermind.

You mentioned in the video that you farmed 600 essences in few days what was your strategy for that? I am missing 2 crusial essences (squirmskull and frigid grin) and I am not sure if Lasal on normal is still the best way to get them (since we have no events to farm leg items).

Well i farmed the new abyssal portals like crazy. You where able to get 1-2 Legendaries per Run. Now its nerfed so i wouldnt go for that. But i learned one thing... I farmed hundrets of legendaries in 2-3 game Modes. But one time survivors bane and i had my last Legendary. So diversity is the way to go. Check if theres an event that grants leggies and that you havent done yet. Or a game mode (Tower, lairs, Dungeons, endless, ...) and try this one.

Sunder brings you and your party 30% dmg increase to all damage delt. Berserker ist just a small 7k dmg tick. If you do open world farm this is a valid Change, since you get even faster, but for all other contents where you need to kill a Boss i would prefer sunder.

But u need it on min 2-3 items to make it work to 100% uptime.

U basicly try to stay alive under idol as long as possible and delivering up to 8 dots.

In Terror rifts and hellbounties you can get legendaries with eternal affixes. The sprint attributes on one item gives you 25% immunity to all knockbacks chill and slow while sprint is active. You can Stack it 4 Times, so having the Attribute on 4 legendaries. This results in 100% immunity to knockbacks ;)

Skill CD is very important for the cleave. You see already that it has mostly 2s CD which is annoying ^^. With eternal gear it gets better but having skill CD is a good thing. For pure open world you can switch sunder skill and oncoming brutality offhand with sundered legacy and skill wrath. Then you are even more efficient in ow and got your wrath back ;)

Ive been using the spartusk helm for my pure tank build even before it was buffed. Despite being f2p (pure tank) , im having good results in bg with it. The idea is to keep enemies near me for lesser damage taken and away from my not so tough teammates and make these enemies susceptible to range/aoe damage from my more powerful teammates. When the tempests arrived standing on the idol was a lot harder because of their op damage and shields and anti-cc abilities. With the recent buff to this helm, it is a bit easier to stand on the idol again since tempests shields seem to be removed by this helm ability. So it seems the spartusk can actually remove shields and some people are not yet aware. Can you confirm? Thanks!

Frozen build total get torture by tempest since bg now many tempest, 10sec frozen to player is not good, 10sec for mobs totally crap😂

You have the 3s CD freeze from cleave and 30% on 10s CD freeze from Set. So within 3s you get 3 Frozen and shatter Animations. That is awesome ;) the issue is the immunity of the tempest and that is sadly an issue for every build out there. We all need to wait for the Nerf.
