New HoA is amazing. I also just found that the frigid cleave can proc firestorm with Outlask when it shatters frozen targets. So with the speed of the new HoA, the HoA shatter chest (I dont have the new one yet) and the cycle of chill>shatter>chill>shatter happens very fast AND is procing firestorm. Need more tests but my highest damage on dummy uses that with Bergbreaker since that buff was huge. Good to see you again, I've been on a long break for health reasons but cool to still see your videos!

@@CRAINE-Plays I don't think I understand the role of Viper's Bite compared to other gems. What do you think about using Seeping Bile or Starfire Shard? Does the Wolfheort generate dots that would work with this build?

Only Viper attach a dot with every hit you do. That means your first touchpoint with an enemy already created the Viper dot on him. That brings two instant positive effects: a ramp up of your Hammer and full benefit of pain clasps DMG. Bile is useless here as ur chance is too low and then it is the same !!! Dot as from the viper. Same damage, same duration. Starfire is always OK, but will just give u one single ramp up of your hammer every 20s. So bit useless here. Wolfheort is only effective if you do a lot of hits (primary, chains, dots, cleave, ...) on one (!) enemy. This is not the case with hammer build. Hope this helps you to understand that Viper is essential for this build :)

I was giving it a try today at BGs and, in my opinion, Stonefall essence it's a bit subpar. Switched it for Lion's Mane because the 13%CD reduction on Demoralize mainly and because having CC immunity to be able to spam HotA it's the key. That way your Demolarlize becomes a secondary deadly skill too and, after testing it, didn't really noticed any speed difference here in terms of re-charging your HotA after removing all your opponents DoTs with Lion's Mane either

What are your thoughts on the gem Igneous Scorn, I got it up to rank 8, should I get something else, seeping bile is an option to replace it. I do have equipped BSJ, Pain clasp, berseker's eye, Mother's L. , Viper's B. , V.spark and Roiling C.

Keep the scorn, nice gem! Before going bile just get a torment. And If you want to invest into 5star then look for a gloomcask :) just my opinion, but then you have a solid farmgem with cheap Torment which performs better in ow then bile and you have a high dps gem with gloomcask for raids / PvP.

I am combining your previous Freeze Babarian with Hammer on Ancient. Main Skill : Sprint , Cleave , HoTA and Undying Focus Secondary Stats : Potency and Resistant and Armour Main Essense is Oustlak Helmet , Skull Morte , Renitent Rage , Snowdrifter , Frigid Grin , Stonefall , Flickertone , Fleshspitter. Might swap stonefall for Ragecaller. So far result is good. But if there are any more feedback to make it better let me know as invest legendary gems previously in freeze so want to work something around it. Thank you for awesome guide

For your build it should help as you are constantly moving. But you rly need Tremor bonus and 4/4 sprint immunity affix. Otherwise yout will be stun locked dead meat. You have very low range cleave so you need to reach enemies somehow. This is the greatest challenge of the build. But when you do, they are forsure dead ^^

Hu, depends on the build (dot, defense, DMG) but overall i think you are always good with: spitefull blood & Frozen Heart (base defense) then jade & roiling for crit, speed and DMG. Starfire & void are very strong for delivering DMG on masses and decent CC. And lastly now the new summon gem as barbs sit idol and have a lot hp so we can defend it better.

Seeping bile is good for a PvP dot build with Torment & Viper + 2pc Baron / mysery elixier and 4 PC Angmet or Banquet. Blessing is quite weak. More tank oriented but there are better ones.

You dont have a total loss of control. Thats why sadly this gem and the eternal affix do not work (stated that wrong in the vid). There are variations with wrath instead of Sprint (bergbreaker) combined with spartusk (instead of Terror) helmet. Then you can go with chip+eternal affix. You will play more defensive with that, so dependend to your playstyle what works better :)

Crit DMG instead of primary damage ON second loadout is usefull. Attackspeed can BE switched for damage to Players (vengance with loss of control DMG, shielded DMG, player DMG). Curses can stay on detested 6pc.

Family bonus with this setup will be 6*vengance and 2*wildfire. Imo best setup. Detested brings this bid area every 30s with some DMG... But it highers every damage from all sources by 24% in that time... This is the real deal.

Yes, every dot tick ramps up the hammer. So for pve dmg gems +vipers (ramp up happens by the masses of mobs u hit) and for pvp more dot oriented or a mix.

Man rennt durch mit Feuerspur und nährt den Hammer dann von allen Dots und den 5er Hits. Damit wäre man wertvoller fürs Game wegen den Bandages Stops vom Flaggelant. Aber joar, von hinten durch die Brust und so ^^

Difficult!! Tremor if u dont have CC Immunity and focused on PvP (so first loadout). For DMG PvP and PvE i would go for vengance. This kicks in good and im playing that too. Barrier is interesting when you want to rly Tank but honestly just relevant if you have a role as immo Leader. Jolt is a tanky one too. Its cheaper as u need benefitial anyways, thats why many are playing it. You save a spot for dmg and can use it as standard for everything you. But its PvP only. Sooo spartusk build PvP Tremor New hammer oneshot vengance Pve vengance / wildfire Thats my suggestion

I killed a 4k reso higher guy with 3 charged hits. Issue is the crit. Of course they block every regular dmg that you do, but crits cant BE blocked and the dmg output is so brutal (2-3M in puppet with hota crit DMG affix) that, even if strifed, they get their share of the dmg. So having crit chance is most important.

High armor mitigates critical damage but with very high damage, very high net damage can push thru. And then shields will kick in... Most likely the build will easily get kills if enemies have lower armor compared to your armor pen but will still have difficulty with real TANK builds (which is barbs most impactful role). Still very nice fun build

In theory thats right BUT there is a max of approx 40% DMG decrease when comparing fortitude vs armor (happens at difference of 500 points). The scaling gets logarithmic so even if there are 2000 points difference the reduction will just be 42% then. BUT the blockchance for regular hits is absolutely crazy. So regular hits will nrly do 0 dmg. Crits on the other hand are good. So next: dont underestimate the dmg multipliers on this build. This is ABSOLUTELY unique and u can find it with no other class. We are caping all dmg buckets here ^^. So yes: even as mid reso u can kill enemies high reso tanks.. I killed Evil (im 3k, hes 12k I think) with some good teamwork. Try it ;)

@@CRAINE-Plays Hi reso doesnt always equate to toughness. But higher reso means more access to shields, cheat death and similar skills. Anyway, I still see shields as the best counter to hi-damage attacks. Even low reso has access to a lot of shields considering the new resistance attribute added to gears plus the usual sources.
