I got the 740HS and can say it's not worth the high price of 499. canon is overpriced it, I wanna say it shoots pretty good photos- however, it's videos get absurdly blurry in the slightest bit of low lighting or bad lighting, natural lighting is the best for this camera but Im kinda disappointed, as I bought the camera to shoot video with ,

I'm a genuine buyer here. All my youtube videos were recorded from this camera. The camera is really good at capturing long distanced objects. The video recording quality is good as well except for the fact that when you switch to 4k mode, the video quality becomes quite blurry. Nevertheless, 1080 50 fps and 1080 25fps does the job.

Is it easy to sync a microphone to the camera while recording a video? And how would you sync it? Through Bluetooth or a USB cable?

How is the audio? I use my phone (iPhone 13 pro Max) but I was considering this camera to record at concerts and be able to zoom in a little closer without losing as much detail. I usually record 4k60 on my phone but with the distances i usually end up dipping into the digital zoom and losing the details,so I'm assuming this camera would already be a huge advantage in that department, if I'm wrong can you correct me? But also how is the mic? Even in loud concert venues my phone does pretty well not sounding completely blown out with loud music and people yelling so I'm just wondering if you have any input on how the canon would fair. Thank you in advance if you can answer 🙏

Actually you can do manual settings in the Tv and Av modes for video. Once in the mode, set your settings and then press the red button.

Thanks for a great presentation. Although I love canon and love the long reach, I'll still stick with my Sony ZV-1 for now until canon comes up with a shutter, aperture priority or fully manual 20+ mp photo with 2k/4k video with long reach, large sensor, wider aperture with ND's, hot shoe, flex screen, flash, great mics, external mic, and headphone jack, in a pocket sized camera. Yup, them's my needs and price isn't the objective.

Yep bad quality when shooting in auto mode. Always shoot in manual and keep iso at 400 and get respectable shots

@@mgtvproductions4628 actually yes! Used it yesterday and the only problem I had was with the focus. At times it wouldn't pick me up as the point so it got fuzzy a couples times. But overall it was super nice! Audio was surprisingly good!
