The ergonomics specialists at Microsoft recommended to employees that they should try to have their elbows at a 90 degree angle parallel with your legs. The chair efinitely needs lower arm rests for you in this video. For anyone young, the sooner you start paying attention to ergonomics the happier you'll be. Not only will you prevent medical issues but you'll find you perform better as you get used to doing things right. By the way, as another tip, make it so thar your eyes are about 75% up the screen when you look forward. That helps your head, neck, eyes, and spine.

did microsoft team recomended any Ergo chair? i got mine long time ago but i regret it has no headrest wich is anoying for me as with age i'm starting to get neck pain, i m looking forwards the best ergo chair with head rest but i'm struggling
@billschannel11165 ай бұрын
@kkadans5906 No, but this was a long time ago so brand/model recommendations probably would have changed anyway. I too am VERY sensitive in that department but computer use is my best time for my head/neck it's everything else that is the problem. Good luck!

i bought this chair and returned it to amazon the same day. Because the chair is bulky and has so many adjustments it was just a wobbly mess of a chair. The lumbar support wanted to continually pull up my shirt, the armrests just continually bumped into my desk and the material was just cheap and itchy versus the Herman Miller I've had for 12 years. It was decent, but at $600 it was not a keeper.

which herman miller? cause i have tried to search a HM with head support and i didn't find one...

Thank you!! You will be interested to hear this is probably the most comfortable chair I've owned, second Mavix M9, but with quirks. Showcasing the arm height is really important, I'm tall so I keep my chair high, but my desk height is like 28 inches, so even though this chair has so many cool features that arm height is a deal breaker. ty!!

@CoZChristopher5 ай бұрын
@@kkadans5906 it depends on your body. The arms on the Logitech have a lot more flexibility but these have better padding and that nook at the end to support you, but won’t go below a certain height which is really annoying. But the lumbar support on this is better to me and the Logitech doesn’t have a headrest naturally. I think I would choose this one over the Logitech for most ppl because the Logitech is rigid in comparison. Due to multiple ACL tears and a tight lower back, I’m most ppl lol. If my wife hadn’t taken this, I’d be using it. But also one thing is the Logitech moves around easier this thing is a tank and heavy

@@CoZChristopher there are cheap wheels that u can buy to swap for it to move easier try looking forward about it if needed, Thanks for the info by the way i read on reddit that there is no tilting weight resistance is that true? wich mean apeople above 80kg has to lock the tilt wich would suck big time for an ergo chair

Yea!! Me too!! Some times I like to put arm rests down lower so that I can slide really close to my desk. Overall it’s good! Especially for the price. It seems like it may be costly, but really a good office chair can go up to $2k easily!

honest question, can the arms be cut if I have access to a machine shop? Do you think a chunk could be removed from the bottom section an inch or so, if I was able to retain the bottom fitting that connect the arm rest?
@blakecleavenger6 ай бұрын
or could I raise the seat an inch or so somehow so the armrests would be in the correct place then?
@IllusionSector2 ай бұрын
@@CoZChristopher On the plus side, it meets one non-negotiable criteria - the seat is a nylon mesh, as opposed to a cushion, which means that the farts will pass right *through* it, instead of getting absorbed *into* it, so the chair is at no risk of becoming a fart repository over time. Ask me how I know.

I see the same issue with the armrest, I also like to pull up to my desk and also push it in while not in use would be inconvenient.

Thank you for this review. What I am interested in is the quality of the chair. Since I weigh more than 100 kg, one of the important things is what materials were used to make the chair. For example, are the legs metal or plastic, is the plastic squeaky or robust? And how do you feel when you sit in the chair, is it wobbly or firm?
@CoZChristopher7 ай бұрын
Hey! The quality of the chair is solid! It's heavy to the feel and very sturdy. I am around 205-215ilbs as well currently and it is a solid chair and at no time does it ever feel unstable. The legs and base are metal, as well as parts of the undercarriage up until the seat bed, etc. The seat is extremely flexible and molds to your body. My wife says she doesn't like wearing shorts and sitting on the chair as the stretchy material of the seat is not skin friendly in her opinion. For me, not an issue, but if she thinks that, its a valid experience that should be shared. Regarding the size of the chair, I'm 6'1" 205-215ish and it seems like someone much taller and larger can sit in the chair regarding the space between the arm rests, seat depth, back support, etc. Overall, I think this is a really nice chair. I got this chair as part of an office makeover for my wife's desk and offered her my Logitech Herman Miller as a trade to keep it if that tells you anything. The lower lumbar is extremely comfortable and can wrap around you if needed. I highly recommend trying it if you're in the market and need really good support.

I find this chair to be very comfortable though. Gimmick or not, I think this is one of the most comfortable chairs I've sat in and I have 6 or 7 to choose from. But, I do agree, there are a lot of "copy variants" of chairs on the market that are not original designs, but bandwagoning onto the current theme, just like the racer seats before.
