These are nice cards. The Chrome stock looks different and better than the sports cards chrome. Wish they would go to these quality stock for the sports cards.

They were sold exclusively in Europe, by a Runfair EQL lottery. To find one now you have to check secondary markets like eBay and some of the large card vendors like Dave and Adam's and Blowout Cards.

I get these are premium cards and not printed in the US but I feel the current state of marvel cards severely prohibits people from entering the hobby. 3-400 for a box is absolutely crazy and I cannot justify it. I’ll stick to Pokémon and vintage comic cards. I can buy boxes for under 200 a lot of vintage and complete a set in 1-2 boxes. Not everything but enough

In my opinion, when Topps/Fanatics produces the US license version it will be around $400+. They are ruining the hobby. We’ll have to wait and see if they create a retail version.

I hope not! I don't mind high end SKUs as long as there are affordable options too. Would love to see it down at the recent SW Chrome pricepoint of $110. Maybe a little higher since the cardstock is better. Retail is a must, for set collecting and accessibility.

Here's some of the differences: Upper Deck Marvel Platinum - US release, has 100 original art cards, typical chrome card stock. Topps Chrome Marvel - EU release, no original art cards, premium higher quality chrome card stock.

@@icollectthings so the art in topps was just used from old stuff? In my opinion that sucks. I did not really like most of the art in the topps I saw you open. Some were nice though. But in the platinum I thought they are good.

@@danodmano4688 Platinum was hit or miss with the artwork. The Beta Ray Bill, Modok & Sandman cards were horrible artwork imo. I like most of the artwork they used for Topps, I don't mind if it's reused but I rather see reused McFarlane, Miller, Jim Lee & Kirby art.

Due to licensing. Upper Deck seems to have the exclusive US Marvel license through the end of 2024, but I don't know when the exact cutoff is. Starting 2025 Topps will be able to release in the US and globally.

I can understand vintage cards/seal boxes like 1992 Marvel Masterpieces or 1990 Marvel Universe worth a lot of money. But not newly released cards. The art works aren't even that good.
