I was in the venue at all sessions during the tournament. The atmosphere at the final match was amazing despite my Hungarian table neighbors who were not friendly at all and probably had no idea what hospitality was !

@gregprocter765 I honestly just have a gut feeling mate got it last year with Smith and got about £1,200 back on him i didn'teven back anyone else but might have a couple of wee bets this year on others,did start betting Smith last June only just started betting Humphries last week,I actually think like Smith he's just unlucky at times an it will click at some time for him im having a punt it's in the worlds for him,I could be wrong it does happen lol.

after the 9 darter I thought that it was finished with chisnall ,but remarkable comeback:after the 9 darter Luke didn't play anymore so well ,perhaps throwing a 9 darter isn't so good for the concentration ..

2015 German Darts Championship final, van Gerwen v Anderson. Gary lost with an average of 103.78 to van Gerwens 117.94. MVG hit one 17 darter, 4 12 darters and a 10 darter. Couldn't find the checkout stats, but that's a better match average wise. Nicholson mentioned that match as possibly better, I would say most definitely!

Whow what class act by both players including the 9 darter,I’ve noticed the maturity of Luke humpfries over the last few years and he narrowly missed beating Mvg with match darts in both these games,looks too me he could go all the way to world champion with a bit more luck

Why not, just call every good game 'the best game ever'. The answer is to the title is no, Anderson vs Van Gerwen in 2015 (German Darts Championship), with a combined average of 221+ was the best final on the euro tour. Not even close

That was a great game in terms of quality but it was a dominant win by mvg in the end, this game had much more drama, this game was a better watch overall than that one
