I've tried clean keto & intermittent fasting without any help.. Now i'm trying just to be more relaxed about what i eat, not restricting anything. But I do eat lots of green veggies & self made green smoothies every day! (i have eating disorder history with very low calories so this felt like the best thing to do)

I got pregnant (twice) naturally while I was vegan. Went on vacation then went back to chicken (no red meat), dairy... couldnt resist cheese, cut coffee & alcohol. Never got pregnant again...then did 3 IUI's & 1 IVF, all failed. So frustrating. Now going back to vegan & organic. Be careful with thyroid disruptors too...pesticides in your food, animal hormone injections, fluoride (drinking water & in toothpaste)

The last time I became pregnant I had just finished the keto diet. I had previously had an ectopic pregnancy, but this was in the right place; however, I had a ovum pregnancy. I also, think that was caused due to something I did myself. I am currently doing the keto diet again as I am going to try IVF in the next coming months if all goes well.

I’ve tried all these diets. I didn’t enjoy any of them. I actually prefer the zone perfect 40-30-30. This was great for me since I found that my body doesn’t digest fat well but does digest carbs. This was very backwards for for me. I was used to restricting carbs and not fat. So it really does depend on what does your body need.

A vegan diet can be very healthy, but I lost my period eating plant-based... Now I'm eating a pescetarian diet and I finally regained my period and hopefully I'll get pregnant. I feel great on this diet - mostly plants (fruit, veggies, legumes) but also some fish and eggs to cover all nutritional needs. It's so true - there's no one-size-fits-all.

I started eating low carb foods last July 2020, cut sugar, gluten, and dairy.. I lost 10 kilograms after 6 months. Now I am trying intermittent fasting 16:8. But if I get hungry I will eat until full, I am also having flaxseed drink every night, I just started 3 days ago... Hoping to get pregnant naturally. We tried clomid but failed, now I stopped mini pill also, hoping my body to function and balance hormones naturally.. 🙏♥️💜💛

What about vegan? Or vegetarian? I used to eat closer to paleo but my husband follows a vegan diet. I am have food sensitivity to cows milk products and I’ve never liked any form of animal flesh (I grew up mostly vegetarian), so it was easy for me to switch over to vegan. I love the way we eat. But I do feel like I’m missing lean/clean (unprocessed) protein. We do a lot of lentils and beans for protein. But.... idk... is there a way to do paleo and veganism? They seem contradictory. If you have any advice I’d appreciate it. 🙏🏼

Thanks Dr. Marc. I’m on an IVF journey. I have used the whole 30 approach with intermittent fasting to shed some weight I gained in quarantine. I have also done one meal a day (a more extreme fast) to jumpstart my weight loss. I don’t recommend anyone do it for long periods but I got great results using it for 7 days and then going into the 16 hour a day fast. I take issue with labeling myself as paleo or keto or anything like that. I eat healthy with a bias towards whole food plant based products. However, I do eat meat products in moderation. What does this make me 🤷🏽♀️, lol!?!? A person that is trying to do the best I can for my body...

Intermittent fasting is crucial! It's a discipline of eating that the modern man needs to learn cause never before in history people couldn't and didn't graze all day long. Even if you eat healthy food eating them all the time is no good! Not to talk about processed food and tons hidden sugar.
