Here in nc in January I am throwing green pumpkin z man turbo crawz on a 1/4 Oz mush room jig head. I also use a zman diezel minnowz opening night on a 1/4 1/2 Oz mushroom jig head and always have success throwing both of them. Caught my pb last Jan on a turbo crawz. Thanks once again for imparting some of your wisdom. Your mix of charisma and knowledge ALWAYS translates well. Most pros have an attitude of sorts akin to master>apprentice. You get it honest for sure. Love the Googan and MTB stuff as well. The marketing makes it that much more appealing!!

Yup it’s cold here in western Washington , this time of year it’s all about Steelhead here. Just coming out of a week of low’s in the teens and low 30’s for the high, too cold for me and I don’t get into that anymore. I’m going to be waiting for about the 3rd or 4th week in February because it seems like every year around that time we get a few warmer sunny days in a row and the bass here in our local lake get active. If you’re on the water then you’re going to get bit, and the color of choice is none other than ‘red crawfish’.

Jerk bait 👊👊👊 but if you have any nights that are cold like 40-50s the bass will shut down for a week they are really pissy then try wacky rigs if you do have chilly nights 👊👊

I'm in Central Florida just north of Tampa. Jerk baits have been killing it for me both Rapala and yozuri and even the cheap knock offs. Shad spawn just ended so they matures are dying off and it's been sending schools of bass into frenzies. A few hard pops and just letting it soak. 6/10 casts you can watch your line take off mid pause and watch 3 other bass follow trying to eat it out the others mouth

Ok , so on january 1st new years day 2022 i threw out a Texas Rigged Eagle Claw size 2X treble hook with a lil smokies sausage and caught a channel catfish. So now because that happen the Texas Rig is one of my faves rigs for when i wanna cast out my line and let the line set on the bottom for catfishing or if im throwing a spinerbait or soft plastic then i might Texas Rig Depending on the circumstances.
