In the fall I have a hard time finding a pattern but ounce you find what they want then it is easy to catch fish. I have been catching them on bait fish imitators, topwater in the mornings is working very well. I would like to start my channel to talk more about this so if this comment gets to 200 likes then I will start my channel! so please help me out! also thank you scott for all the great tips and tricks to help me become a better fisherman. hope you make the classic in 2022 because I will be helping out there! good luck and keep fishing!

Hey Scott Another great video. I always enjoy your videos. You ask for winter fishing tips? As for me, yes it is good to know the best lures and ways to fish, it is most important to make it back home safe and sound. Safety is the most important thing to me. As you have said before a lot of fishermen change to hunters in the winter so there are less boats out there to help should you need it so safety equipment should be on top of your list. Fire extinguishers, horns, floating throw, life jackets and making sure you make it home to fish another day. These are my fishing tips for the month. Again thanks for all your videos and be safe out there

Last weekend, I was fishing off of the Arkansas River, the bass work chasing shad, not schooling but I couldn't get them to bite anything I threw... I could see probably a 3/4 mile in either direction and you'd see 4 - 15 shad breaking pretty constantly, what I was finally able to narrow down is they were pretty consistently at the creek channel drop off. 6 - 9' dropping to 15 - 20. Fished that hard, but never could get a bite. Suggestions?

I bought the Decked system for my truck after seeing yours on KZbin. They are awesome. I’m able to carry a lot of equipment dry and secure. It helped a lot when I was traveling to the Opens this year. My fall tip: fish fast or finish last. It easier to make a big fish go up and eat than go down down and eat this time of year

When the water temps start dropping remember that the fish will hold on shell rock or just off shore rocks because the rocks will hold heat and I'd the sun is shining with a little bit of wind crank bait, jerk baits or even a drop shot you can hook up on some nice fish

I love mini buzz baits. My grandfather loves his 3-5 foot square bills, and my aunt throws her 3/8 oz spinner baits. We had a small family squabble that turned into a competition over this very subject. It ended when my dad (the crappie fisherman) kicked our tail using the micro strike king square bills.
@lthawkins26333 жыл бұрын
I was also wondering if you would recommend swapping the buzz bait for a plopper style bait if I’m getting short strikes or the fish are hitting the blades not the hooks? I do throw trailer hooks on most of my buzz baits

Awesome tips, Scott. Those Fish Head underspins are no joke on redfish, too. Personally, my favorite November lure for here in FL is a lipless crankbait. Yo-yoing one through those schools of tiny shad can trigger some incredible bites. Actually just got my 9lb 1oz PB yesterday doing just that with a one knocker.
