BEST Fly for SNOOK! | Fly Tying | How to Tie the Bumpin' Bunny

The Bumpin' Bunny was created by our very own Brandon Alexander and is a great snook fly. Tie it in white for snook on the beach, or tie it in brown for backcountry fish. The rabbit strip on the tail gives a nice swimming action and the brush on the head shapes the baitfish profile very well. It's a very simple fly to tie that you can fill a box with very quickly.

Nice tie...I tie a similar pattern...the only modification I make is to place a little cement or solarez where you pushed the mono thru the tail....otherwise overtime the rabbit strip will break off at the hole....

effective fly for snook. pro tip - optional weed guard. pass the extra mono through the hook eye and secure with thread wraps, then back wrap to tie in the brush.

Could I use regular 20 pound mono for this fly, on the bunny strip part?
