West Germany still exists. We didn't form a new country in 1990. East Germany accepted the constitution of West Germany (BRD) and joined the country. Only east Germany does no longer exist. Also the german football federation (DFB) exists since 1900.

I wouldn't include West Germany here, as the DFB (the German FA) has consistently existed since 1908 and therefore the current German national team are affiliated to the same FA as the West German team. Furthermore they used the same badge and the same name
