I tried this recipe today and it worked PERFECTLY WELL, I've never found a recipe so thorough and on point as this one before, therefore I never made perfect macarons 😔 this time I really was impressed. My kids devoured them all,luckily I doubled the recipe 😉 AMAZING, that's all I can say!!

Another trick that actually might help is seeing if the batter can make a figure 8 without breaking. That’s how u know the batter is done!

I do have one question though: when I switch out to use to silpat mat instead of parchment paper, the macarons lost their feet. I kept the same recipe and everything so I don’t know if my silpat is a bad kind/brand or do I need to do something differently?

@@vyho3683 Feet come from the surface drying, before baking. Unlike baking parchment, silicon mat isn't going to absorb any moisture whatsoever. So the macarons may need a little longer for the surface to dry, before baking.

These look super yummy!! I've never seen doing the frosting with just butter and the raspberry juice!! I'd have thought it would be an odd texture but yours looks gorgeous!!!
