Today I'm having my best friend call me out while fixing what you don't see and updating BAIB space with my family over at Squarespace! Head to www.squarespac... to save 10% off your first purchase of a website or domain! To check out more of BAIB or even partake, be sure to click over: www.baib.space
I needed a day to play catch up on life so I had my best friend come over to see what she could call me out on not finishing (stuff you do not see and I intentionally shoot around) while I finished up some other deadlines. After she left, I went through and fixed what I could when I had time off. Although I didn't tackle everything I was called out for, such is life! We'll have to do a part two. Thank you Squarespace for sponsoring this video.

Don't come at me bro for how long this is. I know it isn't a build or a makeover but your girl needed to tackle the things you actually don't see in my videos. I wanted to make it a bit of a trio video incorporating the latest with www.baib.space , my new chapter to come and how you shouldn't beat yourself up if you don't get ALL the things done all the time. Tackle it when you can! You got this xx.

P.s. if your cutting in paint in little areas and need it straight without taping everything have a plastic putty knife in hand to hold along the walls edge and a damp cloth to whipe the putty kife off so it wont blead paint where you dont want it

You know what else is kinda nice, Rachel sees more things to get done than Lynsey. It shows that we as humans tend to call out the things we do harder than things that other people would view as just fine. This helps me to really define my own level of content and see my own standards

Having gone through a breakup this year with my fiance, it's amazing to see a video like this. I learned that somewhere along the line, I had lost my sense of identity and I was letting my anxiety disorder really get the best of me. Watching you and several other youtube DIYers, it's been mega inspiring. I sketched an anatomy study and carved a pumpkin for the first time in years. I'm tackling projects and exploring the things that really make me happy instead of sitting around wondering why I wasn't good enough for so and so. I learned that it wasn't me, it really was him, and I'm grateful to have finally gotten myself together so I can get back to the things that really made me happy. I did, for a while, feel a crisis of "starting over" (being 31, and knowing I want a family and a home and all), but learning to slow down, that things have a way of working out. I'm very, very sorry to hear about your breakup because that's never easy, but so grateful you have amazing people to help you and you still get back on your feet and keep moving. It's an testament to how capable and strong you can be, even in the face of a setback like the end of a relationship. I will absolutely take a page from this and tackle things when I can and stop beating myself up when I feel like I can't do it. Thank you for showing me that I've got this!

Wow, I can 100% relate. I’m 31 and my husband left me for someone else at the start of this year and it’s been hell because I was so invested, but I, too, am slowly learning that what will be is what’s meant to be. We were together for 11 years so it’s definitely been a hard one to swallow, even though I know now I’m so much better off. Much love to you, we got this 🤍💪🏻

If it's a newer house, you might be able to turn the phone jacks into Ethernet jacks. If there are 8 wires in the cable in twisted pairs, that's most likely CAT5 or CAT6 that will work for Ethernet. Keep that in mind if you would like to install an extra router or hardwire some device.

Watching this on 3/6/22 - so long after you recorded it. This was a great video, loved it all. I drag along myself on completing projects - go in great guns and all enthusiastic and run out of steam, and then things seem to sit forever just so ever slightly unfinished. But they do eventually get done. It is cool though to be able to have somebody walk through your place with a keen eye and put tape on stuff that looks a bit wonky. I'm trying to think of one of my friends or family who could do that, but honestly - none of them are DIYers and they wouldn't recognize a hole in a wall if they fell into one. So there's that. P.S. I can change out lightbulbs, despite my fear of getting electrocuted, LOL. You're right, women as individuals are stronger when we are together, and that doesn't have to be physically together. Whether we are celebrating our successes together, or empathizing with each other, or providing comfort in times of sorrow and heartache, we are stronger because of that empathy and sympathy. I wish we would as a culture socialize our male counterparts to also encourage empathy, support, and sympathy for each other as part of their emotional character.

I try to break down my reno jobs into steps and complete each before moving on to a new one. I go bit by bit rather than flat out so I do things correctly and completely, otherwise I make mistakes that bug me every time I look at them.

I really like this video. There are tons of unfinished stuff like this in my house, too, so I can totally relate! And the sad part is that it takes a lot of time for an amateur like me to fix since I don’t really have that much spare time 😭 Love seeing your hair down and also this outfit, you are very very pretty 🥰

Use a drop cloth! Remove outlet and switch plates prior to painting! Eggshell is great for walls and/or trim...not OK for ceilings. Paint like a pro
