@@anitasseo Those are some of the healthiest looking gorillas I've ever seen and they are obviously content, relaxed, and carefree. Looks like Japan actually cares for their zoo population unlike some other countries. Those gorillas are going to live a long carefree life, without the need for fight-or-flight against tigers, leopards, etc.. Leave those happy gorillas alone and get yourself a pet to keep you company and off of youtube. youtube is unhealthy ya know..

I agree! Annie is such a precious soul. I think Annie takes after her Daddy and Hero, Shabani. They are both so easy going, forgiving, kind and playful. Annie was always a very special and rare Gorilla Girl to me. She had a very hard start in life and had to learn how to comfort and self sooth herself alone without a Mom and I think that made her have a heightened sensitivity (Empathy) to others in pain and in general. Her beautiful personality and how she looks at this Child, grins at him and seems to think he is just so cute, just shows how much Gorillas share Human feelings and behaviors in the same situations. Annie proves what we Gorilla Fans love and feel about Gorillas that they are just so wise, peaceful, funny and kind then many humans even know or believe. I can't wait to see her as a Mommy. I think she will be so loving, protective and playful with her baby. After all, she watched Kiyomasa being doted on, protected and adored by Nene. I wish Annie had that kind of love from Al, but, no doubt she saw through watching Nene & Kiyo., how a Mommy loves her Baby. ;-)

This is the sweetest interaction between gorilla & human child I think that I've ever seen. The gentleness & sweetness in Annie's eyes while looking at her little human friend is unbelievable. It appears that Annie smiles at her friend and gives him kisses through the glass. It seems she looks at him with almost human like compassion. I don't want to leave out that this is also an adorable kid. Annie is really a very special soul. I wish she didn't have to experience life locked up because she deserves freedom. That being said, she appears to be a well adjusted, happy girl & I always enjoy seeing her in these videos.💕💕💕

Even in the wild, gorillas are usually sitting around. The heavy body does not let them be hyperactive like smaller monkeys. I never seen a gorilla swinging from tree branches and jump from one tree to another. I think they are content with their little world. Tribal fights with other gorilla and sometimes chimps is another thing that the Shabani family does not have to worry about.

Too cute! Funniest part was when Shabani walked towards Annie and then Shabani pushes through and hits the wall. Annie just turns around and goes right back to the little boy, like "You're not stopping me from playing with my friend, dad." Adorable. 💕

Shabani was probably more concerned with the unfamiliar adult humans standing behind the little boy. His behaviour was just a typical display that silverbacks make, lightly warning visitors to be on their best behaviour and reminding them he's there and he's got his eye on them. He's a great troop leader and a great dad.

Shabani is jealous of Annie, when Annie was a baby Shabani protected her from Nene who also had a baby. Once he stole Annie's precious swaddle, they were both babies, and Nene, thinking of protecting her baby, went after Annie but Shabani defended her. It was very cute.

Murder by poachers is the #1 reason these precious animals are endanger of extinction along with the clear cutting of the African jungles. At least, in the zoo, they are safe and well fed and have access to healthcare. I might suggest you do some research on the history of Western Lowland Gorillas and then step down from your pious stance because it might humble you to actually know what this amazing breed of animal has endured in the wilds of Africa.

Annie was raised by humans since she was rejected by both her mother and grandmother, so she is used to humans. It does not surprise me she connects with human children through the glass. She is such a loving gorilla. I can't wait for her to have her own kids, I think she will be a great mom.

I am like her and she is like me. Two apes. One inside a cage. However since they are endangered in the wild I’m glad they are kept safe. As long as they have a healthy comfortable natural space to live in. Love this video.

When Shabani moved in and thumped on the window he seemed to just be saying, "OK, you humans can hang out with my girl, but you be nice and don't you even think about hurting her." He's always been the best dad.😄

It's just amazing how smart and how much they act like humans. His eyes are so deep, it's almost like he can tell a whole by looking into his eyes, so much so that you can see and feel exactly what he's thinking.

I've never seen that side of Annie before, she's so sweet with an adorable personality. Annie has Shabanis' cute face and playful like Shabani. I think Annie and Gentaro would make make a great couple with cute babies. They are both so affectionate that I can see them being in love for life. Gentaro needs to be loved he's so sad.
