So about Sparda's personality. Tvtropes has something that's pretty cool, but I have no idea what their source is so i'm just taking it as fanon. "he's said to be like both of his sons in different aspects (Dante's playful banter and rebellious streak normally, Vergil's stoic ruthlessness in battle). This is symbolized by his color of choice, purple: the combination of red (Dante) and blue (Vergil). And completely inverted with his grandson Nero, who seems to be his polar opposite and wears both red and blue." That's almost certainly some BS, but I like it. So potential 'combined personality' sparda- the arrogant nobleman. He KNOWS he is better than you. He doesn't have to prove it. He is confident in his power and will (So he isn't an insecure shit like Virgil that is power hungry), but he doesn't feel the need to use his overt power until it is necessary (When fools rise up to oppose him). This could also lead to a noblesse oblige- he is perfectly ok with humans that recognize that they are peasants before his might, and he eventually feels responsible for them as they come to rely on him (likely after he beat up some other demons that annoyed him). For day to day interactions? A guy with a rapier wit that talks circles around the other party, and acts cool and collected. But the instant the other side throws the first punch, he is more than willing to knock them down and trample them underfoot.

My god, that's great news. Cerberus is my favourite weapon in the game and it's good to hear we'll get to use it again too. It makes me wonder if some of the older weapons like Pandora will return, but I guess that'd be asking for a lot. Thanks for sharing, man.

I'm not enjoying this LP like I thought I would, but I think it's because Pat digs his feet into the ground on his weapon preferences and doesn't employ them well enough to justify it. I get that Pat wants to get the S-rank combo every time, but the delayed Beowulf attacks are bleeding him out against quick enemies.
