For real though, Lady is insane in DMC4:SE. She controls like Gunslinger on steroids and bosses/enemies melt to her insane damage, since they're clearly built for melee combat and she shoot so stronk. Hell, she's nearly as busted as _Vergil_ in that game. Can't wait to see what she can pull off in 5 if she's playable (please let her be playable).

@Archus orez I agree that Lady could use some more melee attacks (if I had my way, all DMC characters would have at least five different combos strings per weapon), but I personally enjoyed her zoning based combat. If nothing else, I think she presented us with the best version of non-melee combat in DMC so far.

@@WandererRedux Lady is playable in 5. In fact, 3 person multiplayer was accidentally confirmed as well as her and Trish having alternate outfits. Virgil will probably be DLC, as tradition usually goes.

Key Strix I had heard that there's going to be multiplayer, but that's the first I have heard of Lady/Trish being playable as well. Hopefully there won't be any restrictions on that (such as only being able to use the ladies in multiplayer), but I guess we'll see. Also I will be mad if they restrict Vergil to DLC, but I can definitely see Capcom doing that.

Actually, DMC 5 didn’t widen the window fully. You get more frames for a perfect royal guard but there are proper and imporper frames. Improper frames the guard goes through but your DT is eaten up. With proper frames your fine and you gain more DT

Funny thing about the original DMC4 is that Lady is only in it for 2 scenes. One at the start of Dante's part of the game and in the extra scene at the end of the game which you get by making sure Kyrie doesn't get hit.

I never understood the hype for Kalina Ann. It's short ranged... as a gun, if shoving damage in face, shotgun does that just as well, if not better with greater flexibility. Sure, it's cool as fuck with gunslinger, but Pat and Woolie doesn't use gunslinger. If going for big punch immobile gun, might as well just use spiral. Am I crazy here?
