@ 05:15 about the lack of screen recording. Anser is to use SSH from any computer. This can be done over wifi quite easily and I did this with my first cell phone (the g1) that was first android ever released (circa 2008), about 20 years ago.

I have the nt710 also. It’s connected to WiFi. Whenever I hit advanced functions, It shows a diagram of how to setup a wired connection. What am I doing wrong?

Not sure that sounds strange. Is it on bmw or some other brand??

Some brands on certain years have different connections other than the obd for advanced stuff and you may need an adapter
