Great video! You absolutely NEED to go back to Huntington Beach Central Park. I just had the most amazing day there seeing vermillion flycatcher, Wilson’s snipe, sora, Virginia rail, black and white warbler, American redstart, townsends warbler, and much more.

Hi Jordan! Yes! I agree that Christian Cooper's book Better Living through Birding is a super-great read - about birding and his interesting life. It would be a good gift. I know some non birders who liked it, too! I read the book as soon as I heard about it. Later I heard him speak at our natural history museum as a guest of Audubon (now San Diego Bird Alliance). It was great - he gave an enthusiastic presentation on why many birds' names are going to be changed.

Highly recommend the Vortex Crossfire binos, the sibley birds second edition, what an owl knows, and bird feeders as gifts! I would love to be gifted any kind of birdfeeder but the smart ones seem super cool. Also would recommend buying bird-themed clothing and artwork - like the fall Bright-eyed Birding merch!
