okay at 04:15 the arm thing from the helmet where the bend is, take a piece of old inner tube cut that goes over the area, and zip tie it to the arm, this adds some protection and stability, but to be honest go9ing by your footage it's good to go. Just an idea.

That side view looks good. I use a diy mount to go ontop of the chin based off of the one "Proshot Cam" makes. I found it to be to the best angle overall. I made mine for $5 and it's secured by velcro

You could also tighten the GoPro mounts with an allen key, 8mm or 10mm, can't remember. Sweet video man.

Have you ever tried a piece of stiff foam between your visor and the arm from the top of the helmet mount to brace the arm and minimize some of the flex? It might help. You've probably had that suggestion before or already tried. Great videos, Thanks.

I tried recording my first bike ride today. At the start of the ride I quickly realised that the video would be pretty much my legs, bike and the road surface. I kept recording anyway to see what the end result of my time lapse video would be like, but yeah it sucked. I need to get one of those "J hooks" that you mentioned in your video!

What do you think of backpack mounts vs a chest harness? The ones that clip onto your backpack strap. I dont do mountain biking, just road. And i wear a hydration backpack, so i thought instead of wearing both a chest harness and a backpack, i’d get the backpack mount instead. Thanks!

CLUBBEDOUT2008 you should be able to flip the imagine upside Dow through the settings. It works on the hero 3 so it should do it on newer models.

Doesn't the sticking part on the top of your helmet fall when you've got a gopro on it and you MTB? Because I've got an issue with it, the gopro is too heavy with GoPole parts, andI had to use the electrical "tape" to make it not falling down. One of problem is, that my top of the helmet is not smooth, but it has a spitz (celling or whatever). That's probably the main reason why the gopro accessory doesn't fit on it so great, but I'm just asking if it doesn't fall you as it's pretty hard - gopro is +-40cm in front of helmet

hey jordan, I have a gopro HERO (the one that cannot be removed from its case) and I have been using the chest mount, but ive noticed that my footage is very shaky. I first thought of asking for a 3 axis gymbal for Christmas but besides the fact that theyre like $300, none seem to fit on my gopro. any tips for helping my footage look better? Happy Shredding!

U don't need a gimbal if you don't make professional Videos. For a GoPro Hero 1 Its not worth it to buy a gimbal that is 3 Times more expensive than the camera. Then just invest in a better camera like a used Hero 4 Black

Everything functions properly kzbin.infoUgkxHL1v1R3NE5x4KiYfyt8dnQmyNYz7qi5L Nothing was damaged in the box aside from a decal on the fork. The decal was missing a piece of a corner but I ended up peeling them off anyways. Assembly is easy BUT make sure you tune up the derailleurs. Both the front and rear need adjusting. I'd advise going to a bike shop but I opted out and put in 10+ hours with the help of KZbin. Ended up fraying a shifter cable but all in all I learned from the experience. The Brakes work well but the front caliper needs adjusting or at least mine did because the rotor was rubbing against the pads. Make sure you swap out the seat, grips, and pedals. For the short run you'll be fine though. I've read that this bike isn't built yet for hard trails but I just need it for the city. PA has some of the worst roads and being in a mountain this was a great choice. Worth the investment!
