@Aditya Nath u have to study more physics than chemistry in chemical engineering . Chemical engineering is not like what it's name , you can say chemistry is 40% in chemical engineering

@Aditya Nath also you get free time to explore other things or for gov. Job preparation, if u want to do research than it's has a huge opportunity . Lastly very few collages offer this branch which is good & you can do this branch if you want to as it has the most chemistry study than any other btech/B.E branch ( but try to avoid private colleges & bsc chemistry ).

Nothing you can do before you get into a college. You can not prepare beforehand. Btw, I have done MTech in Chemical Engineering

after diploma from a good college , could get assured package of 30-40k per month , after btech 60k , after mtech from govt college payscale could reach upto 1L-1.5Lacs per month

After diploma from a good college you can get max 20k per month....After getting your B.E degree from Reputed NIT you can get up to 50k per month and if you get your degree from Reputed IIT you can get a job with up to 1 to 2 lakhs of per months. After Mtech from IIT Bombay you can take a good salary from a reputed organization but having your Mtech from any other universities your life will become hell.
