You basically drill a hole into the stand and send a 1/4 or 5/8 bolt (same thread style as cameras / mics etc) through the underside. Screw down the quick release plate. Tripod head on top of that. Another quick release on top of that. And once you secure the monitor with support tubes and frame, that will slot on.

I am not sure that RT is becoming more relevant. I dont see it in any games lately, Alan Wake was last RT title and that game failed big time. UE5 games use their own thing and they are so demanding that RT would be to much anyway. None of Sonys new games that are doing very good lately have RT. It seems to me that RT is getting pushed away by lighter software alternatives and it makes sense considering how expensive RT capable GPUs are and how few people own them. Until we get mid range GPUs that will be capable of handling RT at 1440p i think we wont see it often in new games at least not in this form. Maybe next gen of GPUs changes things, we will see.

Do you want more benchmark results? I have 13 modern rigs with cards sliding in and out of them. I've tested a good amount of GPUs, but running the test the way I would run my systems so that I can get a good comparison for MY USE compared to myself and my own cards.... But I am also willing to share the data. However the benchmarks are done in my way, not necessarily the common reviewers method.

Just FYI of all the AMD cards the 7900 GRE has substantially better Ray Tracing than all the rest. The GRE disables some regular compute units but does not disable any of the ray tracing units! So it's the closest thing to an Nvidia card that is available from AMD! Its a 7900xt in ray tracing! Recommended ...

@@Magnetic1884 TBF, i own a 2060S playing at 1080p for as long as I remember, and upgraded to a 1440p monitor a year after covid, I wanted to upgrade GPU coz it barely get me 60fps on 1440p even on medium settings on AAA/AA titles but the GPU prices at that time was really absurd, I was left to playing back to 1080p and have my 1440p monitor as my secondary monitor. This year I've upgraded to 4070Ti-S and it was worth it, but i digress, saying 1440 High 60fps on 2060 is really misleading.

I’m fine keeping my 2060 and playing anywhere from 1080p (more modern games) to 4k (old games), and tweaking the settings (which the important ones are usually on high) to get 60fps. If I want to experience the bleeding edge I’m not going to buy another card. GeForce Now is more economical for me personally and I get the most current experience. My days of chasing new cards at these prices are over. Just one long-time gamer’s experience.

i REPLASCED my 3060 12gb with a 4070 12g according to the specks the card is truly a xx60 class card but it performs really nice and was a true upgrade. I had 3070 in my gaiming pc and upgraded it to a RX 7900XT 20gb and feel the 3070 ran my games better. Why NVIDIA never made a 12 gb of the 3070 I do not know. That small bus of the 4070 I believe hurts it from what it could be. They fixed that with more memory and bigger bus in the 4070 ti supper.
