He's 3 months old and I am always strapping him in fixing things around the house. As soon as he hears the sound of the drill he falls asleep 😂

hey brother I’m due in a week too. Any last minute tips?
@trent16156 ай бұрын
@@cloud5887 congrats it’s an incredible journey holding your child for the first time is like nothing else. Don’t over think it basically the first few months you will be changing, feeding your baby every two hours I recommend doing that in shifts with your partner. Just try to be as helpful to your wife as you can a lot of things naturally fall on her so basically support her so she can care for the baby. Best of luck.

My son will be here in 98 days. I’m a super busy person so this will be awesome to get stuff done and still spend time with my son

Thank you for reminding me about this trick. I use to wear my firstborn all the time and he loved it. Luckily, my 2nd son is not as fuzzy, but it's definitely a great way to bond.

It seems to also govern your baby a visual of yourself OR what you might be doing, helping them learn to interact with stuff in front of them in my opinion.

Although this did not work for us, kudos to those who were able to be on the plus side of this.

My kid turned 18 last year (time both drags and goes too quickly, especially after you're 35). This suggestion is great because it's a few wins in one effort. First, you know where your baby is and it leaves your hands free. It definitely helps with bonding (I still recommend skin on skin contact when they are really small and you can kick back in your chair). It also scores points with Mom as you give her a break and you can earn brownie points if she is nice. This also is a good habit and being completely honest, this stage of a child being an infant goes by pretty quickly. This helps you be there for more of it with minimal effort.😎👍✨

My son (now 2) HATED (and still hates) being worn. my daughter is 7 months, she likes it, but she's a TANK. kinda wish my kids were smaller lol

Cool but just be careful with long wearing because of their hips esp facing outwards!!

Which carrier do you like the best?

Having trouble finding one that could fit my body.
@dadverbАй бұрын
You can try something that's a hybrid like the Boppy Comfortfit. It's not quite as supportive as a structured carrier but may be more flexible to fit more bodies. The poppy is compact and portable and has been a go to in our family for both kids. -Ben

There is some rumor that it's not good for baby's legs. Is it true?
@KindlyChristina4 ай бұрын
i think it depends on the brand. some are tighter than others
@robrob47304 ай бұрын
@@KindlyChristina I mean if the legs are hanging loose for a long time it causes blood pressure problems. Even for adults. I don't know about babies, should be the same...
@KindlyChristina4 ай бұрын
@@robrob4730 Not sure on that to be honest. I mean I don’t think a baby should be worn in it all day without repositioning but from what i’ve seen online, most people are concerned about brands that are too tight and constrict blood flow. but babies are also incredibly resilient and smaller than mature humans so blood flow may be different for them 🤷🏼♀️ but interesting point!
