The only thing I would change, with the wraps I believe they are supposed to have their feet out
@confidentlymom Жыл бұрын
It depends! If the feet are being used for support (like holding the weight and using the wrap to “push”) you’re totally right. Whenever I cover the feet though, the fabric is actually loose, pulled up like a blanket and the feet are dangling/moving free. Once I start moving the toes always come out too is a good way to check it🤣 if baby starts tilting that does typically mean a foot was being used to “support” their weight is another good way to check

We got the Graco 4-in-1 carrier. I liked that you can have it on completely and then put in baby because of the shoulder clips. Unlike the ergobaby that you have to hold baby while putting the straps on yourself. Still experimenting with breastfeeding in it but so far it's worked well for us.

Love the ergo baby embrace but also my other go to is the Hippie Joey wrap! It can be used from newborn up to 35lbs! It snuggles them just like the other soft wraps but you can nurse so easily and don’t have to untie and retie anything.

Thanks so much for all the informative videos! As I am preparing for my first baby, I'm finding a bunch of videos that don't end up giving me the information I wanted and I keep finding that yours are exactly what I am looking for!

With the first baby I used a wrap every day. The baby felt comfortable and my back was relieved. But there were also a few points that bothered me. It took a long time to tie the cloth. When I carried my baby for a long time, it always slipped to one side and I had to tie the sling again and again. That's why I'd like to try the Ergobaby Embrace for the second newborn.

Is the solly baby ring sling linked ?

It looks like the discontinued it... there was a huge controversy right before I published this video about the carrier (not around safety)... and it looks like they stopped production of it and just ran out the stock and never restocked it.

First time mom here (with a 2 month old!) -- how do you navigate getting your shirt up to nurse once the wrap is already on? Or do you have any special nursing tops that you lower from the top? If so, would love to hear what nursing shirts you like! I'm still trying to figure out how all of this works 😄
@confidentlymom11 ай бұрын
So I lived in super hot south Florida which meant shirts were generally easy to nurse in 🤣 I just wore emi jay muscle tanks bit.ly/48wApWu with a nursing bra so I just pulled a little to the side or crop tops - aerie used to have these without any text just solid colors and they are super float for postpartum bit.ly/3O65Crq. I also have (literally wearing right now) sweatshirts from here tajinebanane.fr/en/collections/pulls-sweatshirts-allaitement?page=2 which are soooo warm and cozy and you can easily pull off to the side without loooking to “ nursing” attire

of course! Yes other than a couple of nursing sweatshirts for the cold months i dont think its wroth buying most nursing tops also layering the aerie lumberjane shirt bit.ly/3U2m3bV over a good bra you can slip up works well too! @@RfM2022

Which would you recommend to a 4ft 10 woman?
@confidentlymom Жыл бұрын
I can't say for sure! But here are my initial thoughts: You'll be able to fit a wrap (Solly is the one I have in this video) to your frame exactly so that's the most likely - but with the biggest learning curve I would start with the Embrace (you can roll the bottom under to shorten it and it's an easy learning curve) and if that doesn't work (which I think it should be ok) I'd try the Konny

You can do Ergo and konny on amazon and try those and return them if they don't fit if you can't find anywhere :) Keep me posted with what you find so I know what to share with others down the road! @@Angie-Who

Have you tried the baby Bjorn harmony? It’s the latest style and I’ve heard they fixed a lot of the past issues…
@confidentlymom Жыл бұрын
I haven't tried it! It's def more comparable to the ergobaby 360 and lillebaby than the babybjorn mini i reviewed in this post though so i'm not sure which issues you're referencing (maybe from the carrier active recall?)

If you could only have one structured carrier would you get the ergo baby 360?
@confidentlymom2 жыл бұрын
Yes! But I'd get the "breeze" material i think it's called which is more breathable than the one I have. Mine was a hand me down so I didn't get a choice on the material and in South Florida is can get a little hot on Disney trips, but that thing has been through 4 kids now and still looks great and works amazing.
@milac99702 жыл бұрын
Can you review the artipoppe carrier?
@confidentlymom2 жыл бұрын
If I do, it won't be for a few months. Their soft structured carrier should be pretty great though. Easy to put on, and it sits a little lower than the ergo embrace (my fave) so it should be easier to breastfeed in even with the same clip/adjustment structure shown with the embrace. The big thing missing for me personally when I see others where it, is the added tension no the traps vs. shoulder caps. But it will also fit for longer than the embrace. Hope that helps!
