Its worth noting here the Steam Deck Oled has a 50 watt hour battery(the original had a 40 watt hour). That plus the Oled screen is why it has better battery life over the compeitiors.

I don’t agree with this list 1 - ally - considering I paid $459usd for my rog ally with the z1 extreme processor that amount of power in un beatable at that price. I bought mine at BestBuy. Retail new is $700usd but since so many people returned them the open box price is marked way down which makes the ally an unbeatable deal in you are a technical person 2 - legion go - bigger screen but with higher refresh rates but doesn’t have the power to drive it - open box price is marked down to $600usd at BestBuy retail new is $700 3 - switch oled is basically the same as the original switch released in 2017 same processor only difference is it has a slight bigger upgraded oled screen.

You missed the point, on the go what counts is not how much you paid for it, but how long it can last you without power outlet, charger and power bank. Switch is still kicking it and rightfully so as it's a truly portable console with mobility in mind while with ROG Ally you are consistently attached to the wall.

Sure, lets discuss it. I think Switch is true handheld console that priorities mobility and made by a major brand like Nintendo, unlike some of the suggestions below of Odin and AyaNeo and a bazillion of other one day companies from China. Secondly as explained in the video, it has many cross platform games along with its own unique library, so maybe you won't get Call of Duty on it, but would you want to? And last point, switch runs with no changes for years and while everyone else even at the top such as ROG Ally, SteamDeck, LegionGo and anything else is outdated every single year. So if you want a truly mobile console, that will last, get Switch 2 in fall.

Sold my deck for an ally $459 open box at BestBuy also it was the z1 extreme model got more horsepower compared to the steam deck. The deck is designed more so to be played unplugged that is why it has a weaker less power hungry processor. The ally is the opposite they basically put a processor that is similar to what is found in a gaming laptop in a handheld if the battery only last a hour that is fine because it was more so designed to be play plugged in that is why the have a turbo mode when plugged in
