Excellent review as usual. You’re always very thorough. Great to see your review of Geshelli E3. They are a terrific family run company. I have several versions of their J2 and believe they punch way above their weight. I know many of us here in the US had mentioned them to you sometime ago and I’m thrilled you’ve been able to experience their products first hand.

Precise and accurate description of the sound here with clear words, just like the amp. no juice added :). I was overwhelmed at first with the pure clarity of this amp (coming form Archel 3 pro) and it has been normalized now after few hours of use, not sure if the electronics settled a bit or my ears got used to it through my peanut brain. Its just direct presentation no BS. the coating of the aluminium is top notch and you will be surprised how good it looks. wood has its own charm as well. I'm using it with Geshelli J2S with Burson opamps V7 vivid balanced to Erish 3 Pro both with iFi adapter because I want to be accepted by the audiophile community (please accept me with open arms).

Yes it settles slightly after some time to richer and more natural/smooth l sound thann the one that is observed when first turned on. You noticing that grants that audiophile community shall accept you with open arms. 🙂

Great review! I ordered mine a couple weeks back because I've been rocking the Singxer SA-1 for roughly 3 years now and felt it was time to switch things up. Seeing you and Z Reviews giving this thing high praise makes me excited for mine to come to my doorstep.

A fantastic review of this exceptional equipment, which, by its excellence, totally deserves your attention to sonic detail that you put in all your reviews. The colour combination is also very cool, and I may just steal this combination for my next purchase. Thank you for your time, efforts, and time to share this with us all.

It takes me a while to watch your reviews - because I have to stop and listen to the songs you reference. The Aynsley Lister cover of Little Wing is excellent! I am very glad you have heard more of Geshelli Labs' equipment - they are such a wonderful company and they make amazingly great stuff! I hope you get to also review the J3 Pro DAC - and the Dayzee DAC, as well!

Hi Srboljub, I've been going through your reviews and I've noticed that there isn't a review for Fiio K9 AKM. Man, there should be a review from you on this dac/amp. Haha! I specifically would love if you compare it to SMSL DO400, since how pleased you were with it due to the balanced quality of both its dac and amp; in fact, you put it above the favorite Topping DX5. Another interesting point for the comparison is that both SMSL DO400 and Fiio K9 AKM have the same price point. Thanks for the great reviews and comparisons, as always.

That was truly fantastic - Thank you. I just LOVE the way you find to describe sounds. Not only do you do that in a way which makes total sense to me, I see your passion and excitement for what gives you the most enjoyment in your music (and much of that we share). It’s funny but I almost pulled the trigger and bought an AUNE S17 Pro based on your review (saw a few others, but none as good as yours descriptively) and yet I couldn’t quite make my mind up. Have a new pair of Dan Cark Audio E3 closed back headphones on their way to me and want a good amp to make the most of them - Just wasn’t sure I also wanted additional room heating from the S17 Pro. Out of curiosity, you refer to both of these as being the best ‘below $1,000’ - but couldn’t find any reviews you had done above that price bracket, or is that because there are none? If so, do you know what you might consider (as a purchaser) if you were prepared to venture much higher than $1,000 to find something significantly better than either of these? Thanks again for all your hard work 👍

My best friend is Serbian. Your reviews are excellent. Friendly reminder to spell and grammar check the titles of your video as it is a little confusing. I think you meant to say on a roll. On the roll sounds like you were swapping out tubes? Keep up the otherwise excellent work. I'm LOVING my j3 pro that I got.

1st of all, your descriptions r 2nd to none, i love all of your reviews and i thought u would b the best to answer a question...i just recently discovered that "texture" is my favorite ingredient in sound (thanks to the juzear 61t)...but which dac in your opinion offers the best "texture"..?
@iiWiReviews4 ай бұрын
R2R DACs are usually very strong with texture but exact advices would heavily depend on the price range, stationary or portable, etc. Some DACs that excel in that are Denafrips DACs, Ladder Schumann, Musician Pegasus, Schiit Multibit series DACs, Laiv Harmony DAC, etc. For other devices, Class A amps do texture great too. J-Fet preamps working in class A also.

I know it’s a bit off topic but how did holo cyan 2 escaped your analytical grasp? I mean it comes highly recommended in general. But since you own an r26 and have experience with many other r2r dacs in this price point we have been waiting for your point of view. I got an A26 and everything you said was true, but it was so airy and ethereal that was missing the all important body in the mid base. So much so that it was boring to the point that you forgot music was playing. Maybe this is the way to go in this price point. Laiv was also a great review!
@connorduke46194 ай бұрын
This would tend to indicate that an even better power supply (such as Farad) would give the Geshelli the win over the Aune.

Geno & Sherry-from the beginning-have focused on the electronics, and provided unmatched user customization and myriad upgrade paths for the buyer. Every designer has a philosophy. Theirs is definitely off the beaten path, but it clearly is in line with their bespoke approach to product creation. It's a very small, family-owned & -operated business, and I admire their achievements.
