Huge history fan, love visiting historic sites. A great museum can trap me for hours!

Nice list. I’d recommend the Great Ziggurat of Ur and other Mesopotamian sites, plus China (Hallelujah mountains from Avatar, Forbidden City, and the Terra Cotta Warriors) and Japan (Kyoto and Edo castles). Also the salt cathedral Sovagailor in Romania. Stateside, consider an interstate old train cruise through Montana and neighboring states.

Thanks for sharing! I’ve just added Great Ziggurat of Ur to my bucket list! China and Japan are definitely top destinations I want to make it to…and I can’t believe I missed the salt Cathedral on my visit to Romania 🇷🇴

5:52 For some reason I always think of the Movie Mummy when anyone mentions a Nile River cruise. 🛥 😊 I've been to a few of these. Thanks for sharing this list. Very motivating to get all our ducks in a row for when we start. Thanks for sharing some wonderful places here in the States.👍💪 When you went on these trips were you already working travel points and rewards as your main strategy?

I think of that movie too! Or the Mummy ride at Universal Studios! And no! We’ve only really been working the points and miles game this past year…our currently strategy is to “bank” as many points as we can so that first year starting full time travel hurts less 😆
