I made this with less cornflour in the end as you suggested to someone else and it started cracking within 2 hours of drying!

Tried this and it turned out very rubbery, as it dried it cracked and crumbled.

Cornstarch is commonly known as cornflour! So they're the same thing with different names according to regions... You can also use all purpose flour as a substitute for cornflour/cornstarch.. God bless you! Have a great day!

Guys i tried it.... but with a different recipie (it didnt crack) 1 cup cornflour 1 n 1/2 cup water Cook until transparent 1/2 cup flour (normal) 1/2 cup cornflour Add the mixture Vinegar (no fungus) And thats it

I tried it.. it shrinked a lot & broke very easily... Follwed the exact recipe.. even the final texture looked the same.. but after making few shapes & texture & let dry it all shrinked to miniature size & just broke... may I knw where I gone wrong...

Actually she did not add baking soda which is vital in this recipe if you add baking soda the clay does not break and hardens

Use less cornstarch at the end while kneeling and add a little more oil and kneed for atleast ten minutes if the mixture isn’t mixed completely it can crack too store for a couple hours before using and kneed before using too

The dough came out very well , easy to work with but in the drying process all cracked and fell apart

Try using less cornstarch at the end n if it’s sticky just use oil wrap in a plastic n let it sit for a couple hours n then cover your hands with oil or Vaseline when you open it back up

I tried it and it is very fun to play with but when I left it to airdry it started to crack and then after 3 days it was moldy🤢
