Ingredients You’ll Need:
Chicken legs (around 12 pieces) - Cut slits on them for better marination
Salt - 1 ½ tsp
Red chilli powder - 1 ½ - 2 tsp
Garam masala - 1 ½ tsp
Turmeric powder - ½ tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 2 tbsp
Yogurt - 150 ml
For Cooking the Chicken:
Oil - A little for frying
Butter - A few cubes
Cinnamon stick - 1
Star anise - 1
Small cardamom (elaichi) - 1-2
Big cardamom - 1
Ginger garlic paste - 1 tbsp
Slit green chilies - 1-2
Tomato puree - Adjust the quantity as per your preference
Cashew nut paste - 2-3 tbsp
Water - As needed
Kasoori methi - A little
Amchoor powder (or chaat masala powder) - A pinch

Garnish:
Rich’s Versatie Gold Cooking Cream - For drizzling
Coriander leaves - For garnish
Process:
Marinate the chicken by adding the following: salt, red chilli powder, garam masala, turmeric powder, ginger garlic paste, and yogurt. Mix well and let it marinate for some time. Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the chicken, flipping them on both sides until lightly cooked. In the same pan, melt some butter. Add the cinnamon stick, star anise, small and big cardamom, and sauté. Add the ginger garlic paste and slit green chillies, and sauté for a minute. Add tomato puree and cook until the oil separates from the masala. Add cashew nut paste and cook well, then add water to adjust the gravy consistency. Slowly add the chicken pieces to the gravy and mix gently. Season with salt, kasoori methi, amchur powder/chaat masala powder. Pour in the Rich’s Versatie Gold Cooking Cream and let it cook for a few more minutes. Serve hot, drizzling with more cream and garnished with coriander leaves. Pair with saffron rice or parathas.
