I’ve gotten to the point I’m ready to sacrifice a quiet pant for something with a little protection from the thorns. I look like a pin cushion after yesterday. Hunting public in PA sometimes requires some bushwhacking to get away from other hunters. You make great content! Keep it up 👍.

It is a balancing act for sure. Thanks!

ASIO needs to come out on their early season light weight hunting pants, shirts and hoodies with some green overlay on them. I believe with this on the already great camo it would be killer.

Ironically, I had 3 doe and 2 fawns walk up on me at first light on Saturday. I was on the ground up against a tree wearing Asio’s lightweight stuff. They fed around me for close to 10 minutes before finally winding me. Got as close as 4-5 yards from me. When they winded me, they didn’t run and only one of them had their tail up. Awesome experience. I chalked it up to me being super still and the Asio camo.

I’d like to see some reviews on element outdoors clothing. I have looked at it alot and love their sales and prices but I’ve never compared to the expensive stuff. I think element is definitely underrated and would like to see more videos on it and hope it’s something you’d like! Thanks!!

I tested their base layers and wasn’t exceptionally happy with them. I haven’t tried anything else but will put them on my list because they are pretty well priced.

I’d like to add a few to your list. Origin NYLOC Field pants are pretty similar to Kuiu’s Kutana pant in quietness and feel. Canis has a Cordura NYCO pant called the Kafue. It’s really well made and quiet. Sitka’s Intercept pant is a really nice merino blend and has a couple large vents which helps since it’s a bit warmer. A non-hunting brand I would look into is Kettle Mountain Apparel. It’s Vent Lightweight pant has a mesh type fabric but is softer and quieter than both the First Lite Trace pant and the Kuiu Tiberon.

Thanks for the tips. I have the Intercept Pants. They are nice. I left them out because I haven’t worn them in the woods yet. I’ll have to check out these other ones in my next round of testing.

Is there a good camo out there for when your silhouette is obvious against the sky?
@theeverydaybowhunter2 ай бұрын
There are a few. Elevated II from Sitka, Skyfall from Kryptek, Caza OV from Pnuma. Those are the ones that stand out to me. There’s a few more that are good too. These are the ones that just come to mind right now. I like Specter from First Lite and Disruption from Huntworth too.

Hey Mike! Im stuck between Asio and Huntworth Disruption/Vertek for a full camo system. Im in the midwest in the Ozark Mountains. Do you have an overall favorite between the 3?
@theeverydaybowhunter2 ай бұрын
If you are hunting in tree stands in forested areas there, you can’t go wrong with any of them. That being said, I haven’t had my hands on the Vertek camo yet. I’ve only seen it in pictures. If you’re hunting off the ground, stick with the Huntworth camo. For overall quality, Asio is a step above Huntworth but not by much. Huntworth is definitely a great value proposition and it’s all my brother has been wearing. My overall favorite for tree stand hunting is Asio, but it’s really close and depends a lot on the individual pieces and weather. That’s a tough choice. Sorry lol.

Which pattern from Sitka do you think blends in the best in early season?

Their new camo looks great for it, but I use Elevated II for tree stand hunting.
