From the start of the video you knew this was another red brand lover. Looking at the graphs Milwaukee was middle of the road on most of them. But they still picked it as the top one.

Makita wins hands down. Makita is never going to lower their prices, quality, sell out or give anybody any deals period. You can tell that TTI will make sacrifices and cut prices and give massive deals for large box stores like Home Depot ECT.
@jameskirk3

Yeah, and TTI put plastic parts in their drive. It should be all steel, but nope, powdered metal and plastic in a lot of it. The Makita 40v is a Cadillac. I've gone through a lit of impact wrenches, all the way back to hauling around a compressor, but Milwaukee was good for a while, their new ones have too many cost engineered parts (plastic) and Makita has stayed true to.the product, not manufacturing costs.

You do know that the newer DeWalt destroys the Milwaukee, right? Seems like every one of your videos lately seem to follow a similar format, and what happens to real world testing, like Torque test channel and project farm. This seems to be going the way of a cheap ad.

If theres something I hate is channels misleading info. It has been proven in real test videos that Dewalt’s mid torque takes the 1st place and the second is for Makita and even the HPT is stronger than the Fuel !!!

The current generation Hercules mid torque is weak. Returned it after a day when it couldn't remove mid sized car lugs. But their High Torque (that I own) and Ultra Torque are pretty decent with a 5a battery or bigger I bought the Dewalt DCF891 for mid torque use and am very happy with it. Wanted something compact with close to High Torque numbers. That one has no problem removing lugs

I do automotive for a living and own the Dewalt DCF891 Mid Torque with the 5a Powerstack battery and love it. Compact and good power. For a high torque, I use a Hercules 1/2 impact, also with 5a battery. I tried their 1/2 compact Mid Torque wrench for a day before returning it (too weak) and getting the Dewalt I use the Dewalt more often these days. Helps a lot that I live where cars do not rust

Odd that you used so many different battery sizes in the video. Ridgid and Milwaukee had a 6Ah battery while it seems like other brands had a 4Ah or 5Ah. Wondering how much that affected your results in the charts. Battery size largely changes the torque output.

Yep, they are all good! I use RIDGID and 95% of you should to!!! Why??? Because of the lifetime warranty. Think about it and be honest, most DIY guys will use a "Big Gun" once a week, once a month.... A pro mechanic will use a Gun more in one week that a DIYer will use it in a year. If someone else was buying me the tools I would definitely take Milwaukee and then DeWalt.

Declaring a "best" just sounds like an ad for the winner. Instead, plot the models on a cost vs. performance graph, then overlay the "state of the art" curve (curated-curve-fit of the right edge) and subtly shame any unit that's far off of it. Then people can decide for themselves which unit wins based on their budget. Extra points if you give the plotted points badges for comfort, compactness, warranty, etc. That type of video would beat all these overly simplified videos that we see on KZbin.

I have a serious question guys.... And it might be an obvious one for most of you. But i have to ask... So..... Should i buy a combo (Makita) that comes with the XDT16 (impact) and a hammer drill(cant remember model). Comes with 2 batteries, charger , and bagFor like $400 something. Or .... Buy the XDT19 1/4" impact but it xomes with the tool, 2 batteries, charger, and bag. Think they both come with 2 5AmpHour batteries. I know youre thinking, "yeah dumbass get the deal with the lesser of the impacts but you atleast get a hammer drill with the combo!". But part of me knows im gonna use the impact alot more than the hammerdrill so i want the XDT19 because its way newer than the XDT16..... What do you guys think. Am i retarded?
