Favorite scene where the gay couple are checking in and Ed Bagley says " we have you down for non smoking with a queen and dude turns around and says " and just what are you implying ?" OMG THAT SCENE NEVER GETS OLD. THE " PLUMBER BUTT" scene is also funny. Great movie and better improv. BRAVO 👍❤️🌹👑💯💕🥰😇💎🤣😂

I love these people and every movie they’ve made together. I re-watched BEST IN SHOW on Christmas (during COVID ... sad and alone) but something happened that gave my spirits a huge lift. My dog Sammie heard the sound of a dog from the TV and joined me in the den. For over an hour she stood on her hind legs with her front paws perched on the TV counsel and watched every scene where a dog appeared. At one point she walked around to the back of the TV to see if she could find dogs. You know a movie is universally beloved when your dog can’t take her eyes off of it.

Brilliant. I saw this movie when it first came out in dvd and had really no idea what it was about. I was looking for a comedy and I found it and loved it and still do. I appreciate all the actors. It's a movie that reminds me of the classic a Mad Mad world. Get a bunch of actors to work in two's who each have their own story to tell and somehow, they all end up together. Even up to the very end of the movie, it was an ending that tied in with the opening of the movie and very clever. Fun to watch again and again. Honestly, I would have loved to have been in that audience for that movie...all day...unpaid.

@@samanthathompson9812 Since this type of entertainment interviewer often behaves like this, I'm guessing they're instructed to be that way; to keep the energy up, smile, be emphatic to hold the viewers' attention, be likable to focus groups, something like that. You see it sooo much that I suspect it's not this individual interviewer's fault really. It's like being a cheerleader or something, you're required to do it a certain way, you can't be a chill, soft-spoken cheerleader.

Was not looking forward to seeing this way back when. We weren’t dog people (or pet people) due to allergies. But I loved Waiting For Guffman (and Spinal Tap, SCTV, Fernwood 2nite etc). Instant classic. It is the rare movie where every scene is comedy gold. We had to stop quoting this movie at home because it became a table read. We are now dog people 20 years later, love our Yorkie puppy & just rewatched it again on DVD. One of the best comedy’s of all time.

This movie is one of those that to do a remake would absolutely kill it's cult like status. You don't remake a solid gold original. There's a rumor that Hollywood wants to remake JAWS, my favorite movie of all time, and when Steven Spielberg caught wind of it he began doing everything in his power to stop that from happening....he isn't giving up. E.T is another movie that needs to be left alone to live in peace and popularity. 👍❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹👑👑👑💯💯💯💕🥰🥰🥰
