Honestly speaking I and most Indians do not like tasting the food we are cooking while cooking it. Most of our moms never taste the food while cooking and yet they taste perfect while being finally served. I think its because of the cultural difference. Tasting food in between cooking is considered impure in Indian households. Especially Hindu homes. Preparing perfect food while not tasting it in the process is a great talent I believe

To all indians over here it's okay if they're calling any kind of gravy made by using some Indian spices with their own touch as curry. I mean meaning of curry changes even in India itself like north to south, east to west If you ask me what is curry!? Then my answer will be., curry means something having liquidy structure spiced with different kinds of spices according to dish,region and cuisine,with some basic veggies like tomatoes, onion, garlic, ginger (optionally you can add any veggies that goes with your dish) Such as thai-curry, japanese-curry, chicken curry, mutton curry
