Why are good borrowers paying 24%? They would have access to normal banks to borrow at a relatively lower interest rates

That's what Many will default and so they pay almost half the intrest

So, this is why borrowers pay an average of 23% interest to our sister entity Lendbox: 1. These are short term loans that typically come with high interest rates given the tenures. 2. Banks generally don't deal in short term loans and there's huge gap that a P2P company fulfils in identifying such borrowers and such borrowers come with a solid track record. The interest rates are on the higher side because these loans generally don't go beyond 6 months and are also of small amounts. Hence, the borrower is comfortable in paying such interest rates.

Anything you don't understand doesn't become scam. They make good videos and they also need money, so they make sponsored videos. And the product is backed by RBI regulations. Now if you think RBI is scam then please leave the country also.

This is a very risky method of investing. There is no guarantee that lenders won't default. Also, at that scenario Per Annum will not give the expected returns and you can't take any actions against them.

Your videos on Credit Cards are good, they are useful for general public. But these per annum and all are very risky , infact very very risky. Why anyone will pay 24% ? It shows lack of knowledge - better you people avoid such topics.

Hi Mohan. Income from P2P investments are taxed under the bracket of "Other sources of income". The interest income that gets credited on maturity is credited without any TDS deductions.

If they're giving loan at such high rates, that means they're risky loans. These advertising videos don't tell how much cash the company is burning. If you want high returns, stick to equity markets.
