This is why I started watching your channel all those years ago. I have zero interest in the latest $500 putter, $1,000 driver, $2,000 set of irons. I love to see you play, think and explain your way around a course I'll never see or play, and the interaction with your buds. Keeping it real and enjoying this stage of your life 👍

Cruit Island - impressive camera work to show what a gem it is, but even better in real life. The North West is a great area for golf and a couple of 'jars' afterwards...

Mark, I’ve only recently come across your channel, but I enjoy your approach to the game. This is a great list! I’m a 71 y.o. Yank who’s made several trips to Ireland and had the immeasurably good fortune to have played Enniscrone and Portsalon with members. The first day I played Sligo was a balmy sunny day, one day later was in a 30 mph rain storm. The brilliant golf at Rosapena was surpassed by the toasted special and carrot soup in the grill room. Way to spread the word about the northwest’s hidden gems, but don’t forget Donegal Murvagh!,

Great video Mark, glad to see & hear your enthusiasm for the wonderful links courses in the north west. I have the pleasure of being a Portsalon member and to play other courses in the area regularly. There's another very good links between Sligo and Cruit at Donegal or Murvagh as it is sometimes called. Paul McGinley is revamping some holes and promises to make a top links course even better. You don't need to leave County Donegal for a top class golf trip

Good to see you enjoyed Enniscrone and Co Sligo (or Rosses Point to us locals), two fantastic links courses to hold their own with any around. Also in between the two near Sligo is another links course, Strandhill, which is another fine links with the scenery to match.

I don't know if Mark will read this, but I feel like he doesn't really put out videos playing rounds of golf anymore. I miss the laughs, especially that one pony tail guy went bunker to bunker to bunker and the hysterical laughter was contagious.

The shame is that the green fees to play these courses has sky rocketed in the last few years - thanks to the Americans who want to play them (who can afford it I guess). We played Portsalon for 30 euros 5 years ago (as vistors) - they now want 150 euros! To be honest we've found this to be the issue with so many Irish golf courses that we used to be able to play for 30-50 euros and now they'er asking 100+ euros - absolutely gutted

I am fed up listening to all of this touristy aligned infomerricial presintations. It might as well have been made by the tourist board. Not a bit of criticism about anything .No bad weather, no bad Guinness, no honesty. Load of rubbish from Fairways and Fundays.
