BFT Yorai is a far better jig over the JYG Pro tuna bomb and costs less. The Yorai has far better action thus giving off more vibration whereas the JYG Pro tuna bomb has the same shape as your typical torpedo weight that's just painted with assist hooks.

Don't let Chubby get your panties in a bunch. That fish he is posing with wasn't even big compared to what I've caught here in So Cal and can easily be landed on an extra extra heavy spinning setup. 😂 What you probably don't realize is that when fishing on a sport boat like the Polaris Supreme is that they want you to bring in the fish as fast as possible to avoid tangling up with everyone else on the boat and they're not going to pull anchor to chase the fish down. Also when fighting a triple digit fish you need to use the rail as a fulcrum and the up and down motion of the boat to bring in the fish when you start getting fatigued. Obviously you can't do that on a spinning set up. As a west coast angler I use the spinning set up from time to time. When I'm using a spinning setup for large bluefin I'll use my Saltist MQ 20000 on an extra extra heavy 60-100lb class rod but I've seen too many guys fishing too small of a spinning reel and too light of a rod basically ruin it for other anglers on the boat simply bc the rods they're using simply didn't have the backbone to turn the fish.
