I've been doing software testing for over 20 years. I found out that I was HSP 2 years ago. I've been running a software testing team for a decade now and I have hired many people with no prior experience. Some have even been lifelong home makers who decided to enter the workforce, while many others have joined from various backgrounds (teaching, science lab work, bar tending, retail, food services, military service, etc.). My point is simply that you shouldn't assume you won't qualify or can't do well because you don't have a degree in testing. Guess what, there's no such thing. So give it a shot if you're at all interested in software testing.

Hello Van Badshaw, thank you for the video. It gave a lot of good ideas. Even though, I don't agree about a software developer. I'd worked 10 years with it. And normally, you need to talk to managers to get information, you should join important meeting a set deadlines. The last one is really complicated because of setting boundaries. People put a lot of pressure on you because you should do things as fast as possible, however, hsp are quite slow and like to ponder most of the time.
@aleeza3001
@aleeza3001 Жыл бұрын
Agree with you! I don't think most of the jobs she mentioned will fit majority of HSP. If its an HSP that's very good with logic and analytical stuff, it will work. Im an hsp and not good in logic. So i think this will just drain me.
