I love these joycons! Definitely worth the cost and makes the switch feel like a lightweight steam deck. I disagree that back buttons are optional though, any "pro" class controller should have back buttons, and honestly two like the elite pro controller. IMO the xbox elite controller and steam deck have set a new standard with four back buttons

Yeah I think so. These joycons are coming out waayy to late. Sure they will work on the Switch 2 via bluetooth, but they won't connect with to it for handheld play. Also, I bought the first version of these that were white and the dpad (either regular or that octogon shaped one) are TERRIBLE for fighting games. I don't know if these are better, but don't expect to use this for fireball and dragon punch motions. Even the regular joycons are better in this regard.
