Thank you for this. I think you described the ideal use case, for which you can simply make sure it's fully charged before you set out. As a jumper cable substitute it's a lot less appealing for me.

Nice. I just got a Hulkman alpha85 and it’s dope. The alpha 85s has a built in heater for super cold conditions. And they have a force start mode that bypasses the protection circuit fir completely dead batteries. And it charges really really fast

If you’re organised enough to buy one of these units you should also be organised enough to set a monthly reminder to check its state of charge. Ideally Li-Ion batteries should be stored at 50% charge for optimum life span but in this case 50% may not cut it when you need it the most so just top it up regularly. You’ll be glad you did, I’ve only needed to use mine twice but happily the car started the first time on both occasions.

i have utrai jstar one for less than 50€ and i can tell you i have same impressions, build quality is great. So many functions and they worked everytime. I can only recommand this brand, but not all chinese jump packs are so reliable. I live in the city, i have no garage and sometimes there is nobody around me who have time to help me. This is only way.

Sa fiu sincer.. nu prea bine. Nu sunt un expert, dar din ce îmi dau seama, acel motor diesel este prea greu și are prea mult cuplu pentru mașină. Suporții de motor se schimba precum șosetele. La fel și crucile cardanice și suporții cutiei de transfer. Motorul este foarte fiabil, dar sunt necesare unele upgrade-uri pentru o viață liniștită cu o asemenea mașină 😃

Bought One of this based on this review. Today I tried to start a 3L diesel engine with an 11,5v battery. Completely disappointment, tried few times, no luck.
