Hello I Always use snow tyres, but when snow melt and freeze again there is a slippery ice that causes hard times. Do you think the tpu chains you tested can be used for those situations (like use them for 300m/1km of ice over street instead of snow)

Hey, I'm not an expert, but got a few thoughts: 1. What makes you think the filter media is folded only because it increases the surface area (and therefore making the filter more effective)? I'd say this layout provides a much higher structural rigidity, which prevents from bursting the media by changing the angle of the media to the air flow and also 'naturally' removes the flapping effect that the flat media would create (I guess that's beneficial for the intake gases flow). 2. Judging the quality of the media by its surface area is quite misleading. The thicker the media - the less amount of folds it allows fitting into the filter, and vice versa. So, in theory, for a given media you can achieve the same level of filtration by using a larger surface area of thin media OR smaller surface area of thick media. 3. What exactly does weight tell us about the quality of the filter? Does thicker media filter better? Only if we're comparing the same media material (which is not the case between different brands of filters). Otherwise, it doesn't provide us any meaningful info. 4. Barcode only shows the country where the manufacturer’s business is based, which can be different from the manufacturing plant location. Anyway, big thanks for your effort!
