His name was Junius Matthews and by this time was a well established actor. Some of us, however, may remember him as the voice of Rabbit from Winnie-the-Pooh (and incidentally the Scottie dog in 101 Dalmatians). I bet he was a fun dude. He was always cast in old westerns as the crazy old coot or the guy who runs the chuck wagon.

Back in the 90s, it made perfect sense when they did a Live Action "101 Dalmatians" with the perfectly cast Glenn Close as Cruella. Seeing all those spotted puppies and her over-the-top antics gave the film its own identity. In fact, many fans will think of the Live Action version when you mention 101 Dalmatians. There are only certain Disney films or ANY animated film/show for that matter, which can benefit from a Live Action remake. Unfortunately, Disney thought differently and has decided that ALL of their most beloved Animated films could potentially get remade as a Live Action movie. Even Snow White, the ORIGINAL classic, one too precious to get a "Direct to Video Sequel" (remember when Disney did those cash-ins!) Will now get a Live Action remake!
