The Echo 8010 is a nice timesaver. Retired the Echo 751T about a month ago for the 8010T. Substantial upgrade. Works great for shrub trimmings too and virtually any type of cleanup. I locked the 90 coming out of the fan with a couple of sheet metal screws as there's so much thrust it wanted to splay outwards, pushing the whole tube back.

We’ve always loved echo, we use the pb580t’s, can’t go wrong with them, especially for the price and what we use them for, we have mostly all small yards here in SoCal so we don’t need too much power but the 580t has more than enough power to make quick work of blowing everything back in. This thing looks like a beast though man, echo really outdid themselves with this one, thanks for showing it’s power.

You're welcome man, I definitely can understand grabbing a smaller unit for everyday blowing. Ibuse the Stihl BR600 for that.

I just bought an Echo X series. Can't wait to use it for leafs .

Ok when you store a brand new blower set it on floor tight to the wall with the tube pointing straight up! This gives it some built in memory and actually takes some of the weight off your arm. Try it you’ll notice a significant difference!

It worked so great she was yawning afterwards. That’s a good selling point for me 😂.

I bought a pb-580t backpack blower in January and I cant wait to get the leaf cleanups going this year. Seeing the new blower in action to me I can compare that with the husqvarna 570 when I use to work for a landscape and maintenance company

I buy broken/worn out/bad engine walk behind leaf blowers off Craigslist and rehab them with new wheels, paint and repower them with the Harbor Freight Predator engines. Cheap leaf blowing.

I use my blower to help dry cars and anything really that I have washed and needs to be dried to keep from spotting. I'd really like to see you wash your mower and blow the water off with that. I've never used a backpack blower so I don't have anything to compare my Stihl handheld to

@braden87375 жыл бұрын
Leaves are falling now. This thing should be in stores now. Companys really need to start using their heads. I'm patiently waiting to buy a new blower but right now I may have to get a br700. IMO it's the next best thing.

Not knocking the blower as yours looks nice. My first backpack blower was an echo and 1-1.5 years into just personal residential use the thing quit cranking. I had bought it from a home improvement store so I had to take it almost an hour from where I lived to the closest dealer that worked on them. Customer service was less than ideal and the service tech told me it was a common mistake with that blower that echo does not warranty. It was a crankshaft key that broke but no recalls and would cost as much or more than just purchasing a new one. That is when I learned to find a local dealer that serviced and stood behind their product. In my town, we have an ace hardware that sales and services Stihl equipment and the only issue I have had since buying Stihl was a broken shaft on a trimmer that was due to a trimmer rack and not Stihl. My local dealer replaced it and I had a loaner unit until a new shaft was replaced. To me its not about the brand but service after.... Glad the echo is working out for you and hope you have many years of trouble free use...
@SpencerLawnCare6 жыл бұрын
Only time will tell man, but I will say if it breaks you guy's will know.
@mikecooley33615 жыл бұрын
that's the problem with consumer vs professional equipment. I get that they do it to get their name out there to both types of customers but when you start associating failure with your name, your overall business will hurt. I stayed away from echo for years. In June I bought a T2620 trimmer and it's the best running trimmer I've ever owned. My advice to any homeowner that does it themselves, buy commercial equipment. It will probably outlast you seeing minimal use.
