the prices of these screens are crazy though.. i get its like 500+ for the base model.. but asking 2k more for a 2'' screen upgrade thats crazy.. the bigger screen costs like 1 buck more to produce.. if even..

Is your livescope connected to your trolling motor? How do you aim when you are spot locked?

Yes it is mounted to my trolling motor. I don't use it when on spotlock. I typically always use my foot to control the boat if I need to use livescope. I'm looking at getting a mount that would allow me to use livescope when on spotlock

The least expensive option for a trolling motor with spot lock functionality is the minn kota ultrex 45" 24v with US2 transducer. This combined with either the echomap 93sv and livescope lvs32, or GPSMAP 1022 with livescope lvs32 are the most economic bundles for livescope.

@Jason Broom no, your Garmin units will Not connect to the minn kota. You will need the Garmin Force trolling motor if you want to connect to your Garmin units.

'Most Affordable' doesn't mean it's in the range of everyone I had to scrimp-and-scrape to afford a Striker 7cv...Livescope or it's equivalents is so far out of my budget it's laughable.
