You’re really good at speaking I don’t think you need constant cuts
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
Appreciate the compliment. Reason for rapid cuts on this was is I was taking a while going through the degrees between selections. A lot of wasted time.

Thank you! This is informational and digestable. Wish other high schoolers would watch this so they could explore other careers aside from nursing, lol.

You’re welcome! I wish I could reach out to 18 year olds more and try to give them guidance but 1) I don’t want to make a TikTok and 2) Some of those 18 year olds are ruthless… (some are great though)

Just curious, why is Marketing so bad?
@alexsheppe2 күн бұрын
There’s usually no such thing as a job that requires specifically a bachelors in marketing. Also the salaries are pretty low for marketing new grads.

What are your thoughts on the WGU Psychology degree? Assuming one could knock it out in a term or two? And also assuming that one wants to enroll in a masters program after.
@alexsheppe3 күн бұрын
If you’re gonna enroll in a masters after, I think it’s fine. Just always do your due diligence and look at job boards to see if companies are hiring psychology majors.

Would you put Cloud Computing in S or A?
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
A but more close to S than B.

Alex, so I enrolled in the umpi project management yourpace program and because my highschool transcripts are from a foreign country I am considered an international student. I've started on working on the ace credits that you have mentioned on the spreadsheets. My Question is will there be any difficulties when transferring those credits to the school as I am considered an international student. Thank you for all of your great work.
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
Honestly my knowledge on international degree processes is still a little shaky. I’d ask whatever the specific school and/or ACE Credit website is.
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
Although my best guess is it would be fine.

What are your thoughts on a B.S. Strategic Leadership ?
@Akihito0074 күн бұрын
Shame that Business Admin gets a C. I wonder if he’d put Business Admin-IT Management in at least B, since he said it was a good degree at WGU. That’s what I’m going for in February, mainly to get an easier degree than their Information Tech degree.
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
I’d put that specific degree in B or A. Probably A.
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
The IT Management degree is closer to Information Systems than Business Administration. Although not quite a true Information Systems degree.
@Akihito0074 күн бұрын
@alexsheppe I'd love to do the IT degree but I want to get the CCNA and move into Networking before maybe changing into AWS and my A+ didn't help me at all to get any entry level IT job. I just don't want to study for entry level certs I might not need when I can pick and choose, like you're recommended in earlier vids.

What about healthcare administration or HIM
@alexsheppe4 күн бұрын
@BITESWSHAY HIM and Health Informatics are basically the same thing. I put it in A in the video. Healthcare Administration I’d give a B-. I would probably put it in B tier, but barely.
