Please does d rice have to be extra Smooth after blending, cos mine is not, I has granules I blended for a long time, plus I soaked d rice for about 12hours

We call these vitumbua in Swahili. We don't use cooked rice in our recipe. However we use coconut and cardamom. I will try this method.

You can make the batter ahead of time and store in the freezer but I would advice not to put the yeast until you’re ready to use

That is the traditional name that’s Hausa people call It. I will try and learn the history behind the origin of how hausa people created the recipe
