2 onions

3 eggs
50-100 g of breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon of ground pepper
1 teaspoon of mustard
A handful of rubbed marjoram
2 teaspoons of salt
A bit of water
Water for basting
Fresh herbs to taste
How To Make The Best Meatloaf
1. First, peel and finely chop the onions. In a bit of oil, let the onions become translucent, adding 4 crushed garlic cloves towards the end to release their aroma in the pan.
2. Now, combine the ground meat with the other ingredients, including the sautéed onions and garlic. Work the meat thoroughly to incorporate air and hold together. Add a bit of water to the mixture. Shape it into a loaf when it reaches the ideal consistency, achieved by gradually adding breadcrumbs.
3. Preheat the oven to 150°C and bake for 1 hour. It's better to cook the meatloaf at a lower temperature to prevent it from cracking.
4. Serve with mashed potatoes, boiled potatoes, or your favorite salad.
