YOOO this is sick!!! Thank you for the review and making a banger track - love how you played instruments along with it as well! I will be sure to send you our free update coming out in two weeks for this pack!

Don't judge me for being stupid with the modern technology which we did not have in the 50's to 70's and beyond but, does it work with CakeWalk? That's a free audio workstation as you would already know this. I'm learning Cakewalk and want to make a backing track. Thanks for upload.

Midi chord packs are free. Some are even included in your DAW like in FLStudio. A waste of money.

Depends on what your musical goals are. I personally find them great. Not everyone wants the headache of using Fruity Loops Studio. I don;t care if YOU call it FL Studio, it will ALWAYS be Fruity Loops Studio. What do you think the FL stands for? Fun Looper? No, it's Fruity Loops. Like the cereal, ya know?

Unison also has a MIDI Blueprint Pack, which essentially does the same thing as the Chord Pack, but suggests different progressions, (by key) in different genres such as Future Bass & Melodic Trap, House & Deep House, Rock, Melodic Techno, and R&B, etc. They are great for getting a comp started and help you develop the foundation for a new song if you're finding it difficult to get inspired. I'm just an independant Producer and don't work for Unison or that other guy mentioned in this video.

Most reviewers of these don't even bother trying to compose with them and sneer at the basic tennant that since they don't allow you to use your own music theory they must be garbage. Glad to see you proved them all wrong.

Something that isn’t free but something I would personally recommend is STPL Sounds. It’s $78, but they add a new sample pack every month for free. It’s not just MIDIs, it also had loops, drums and preset packs. (Im not getting paid to say this btw, I just like the KZbinr who made the pack 😂)

@@thiccyboi-6495 If I wanted to use wav files, I wouldn't be using MIDI now would I? Why use someone else's sounds when you can use your own? Use other people's sounds and you will eventually sound like everyone else and NOBODY wants that.

Yes, Scaler 2 is another option. You shouldn't limit yourself to just one tool. After all, you can't build a house with just a hammer.

Great info for the musically disabled AKA most guitarists. You don't have to be a musician to make music. Just press buttons and move a mouse. Just a matter of time when AI will replace us all.
@PatrickBreenMusic
@PatrickBreenMusic Жыл бұрын
Thanks for your comment my friend! Respectfully, I think your comment about "being a musician" is a little bit off... I'd put it this way - You don't have to have an advanced understanding of music theory to be considered a musician. Personally, I've always struggled with feeling unqualified, and creativity should have no qualifications! If you have an idea, share it! Music theory is a language that's DEFINITELY worth learning, but you won't master it all at once. While you're still learning, tools like the ones in the video are great resources to help you create music. ....in terms of that AI stuff, well yeah we're def trending in that direction, haha!
